"kext-dev-mode=1" is completely unnecessary... It actually hasn't done anything since Yosemite.

it allows me to boot mojave on MBP6,2 at least.
i reinstalled it twice using the patcher and can't boot without editing the boot.plist.

i think it has to do with the acceleration for the intel hd, because there is none.
it even says the kext has not been loaded although it's there.

either way i don't want to stress you with this. maybe the problem is on my end (corrupt usb installer perhaps). just wanted to let you know.

I am still having the issue where, when I click Tools and Download Mojave I end up with High Serriah. Do I need to install a newer version of the patcher?

I deleted everything, including the patcher and started over. Using some hp notebook here (...) so if it works on this machine it will likely work on anything. This time total to download is 6154.5 mb, hope this is the correct figure

Yes, you need to delete your current copy and re-download it.

three years ago my MacBook Pro 17'' 8.3 late 2011 (best machine ever) had its motherboard repaired for discrete graphics card troubles - the infamous AMD Radeon HD 6770M - and worked fine until about a month ago. Since then - basically with the last High Sierra update to 10.13.4 - the kernel panics and white startup screens are back. Ultimately they have induced me to disable the discrete card and run the machine without it (if anybody is interested, this https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/267581/gpu-problem-boot-hangs-on-grey-screen is how I managed to do it, thanks to the very elegant solution offered by LangLangC on stackexchange). All is fine without the AMD card, my machine has much longer battery autonomy and doesn't heat up anymore as it used to before. But there are also several disadvantages, most of all not being able to use external monitors anymore due to the insufficient capacity of the integrated graphics card via Thunderbolt 1.
This solution works for powering off the dedicated GPU when not in use and decreasing temps / increasing battery life, thanks. The GPU in mine hasn't failed but this is still a good precaution to take (and necessary for running Mojave as right now there is no acceleration on the dedicated GPU).

First of all, thank you dosdude1 for all your hard work, and everyone else on the thread. My question, Will having continuity activation tool installed create any issues with running your patcher before or after install?

Not really sure, but I honestly hope you're not installing this over your main install. It is NOT ready to be used as a main OS at this point.

Hi dosdude1,

so finally, I installed Mojave with your patcher on my old MacBook Pro Mid 2010 (Nvidia 330M + Intel HD).

What i did:

- Download Mojave with your Patcher...
- Create a USB Installer
- Install with graphic glitches
- Restart into the USB Installer
- Run the Patch and rebuild the Cache

After this, my MacBook wont boot...

We have to disable the platform-check manuel:
-now lets start into the USB Installer
- open the Terminal and enter:

csrutil disable
nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1 -no_compat_check"
csrutil enable
reboot

Thanks to jackluke ^^

After this, my MacBook boot with QE but messed up into Kernel Panic after about a minute.

To fix this:

Download and run the

Now I run Mojave stable on my lovely MacBook 15" Mid 2010.

Special Thanks again to dosdude1 !!!

The Mojave install and post-install following the same procedure as for High Sierra proceeded OK on an iMac 11,2 (Core i3 with Radeon HD4670) but immediately presented a barred gray circle on reboot. Running the nvram-args setting to switch off the compatibility check now gets the boot procedure a little further with a boot progress bar that goes 2/3rds along and then KPs with this.

Yeah, that's because of the AMD graphics, which don't work correctly yet.
