Yeah, that's because of the AMD graphics, which don't work correctly yet.

Not really sure, but I honestly hope you're not installing this over your main install. It is NOT ready to be used as a main OS at this point.
Hold shift on boot then can you boot into macos but with glitches ... Select the white theme
Nope, just get barred gray circle.
test it..
csrutil disable
nvram boot-args="kext-dev-mode=1 -no_compact_check"
csrutil enable
reboot
Alright then, how about on a friend's 2011 MacMini with i5 processor and HD3000 graphics only? That is, if I can convince her it's, ahem, harmless...

I just updated the tool. Now, you should be able to boot a system with an AMD video card, but you will not have acceleration.Done that already and just get barred gray circle with Shift key pressed. Without pressing Shift key get 2/3rd through progress bar to end at gray KP screen posted earlier.
It's probably because the GPU is a PC card not flashed with a Mac EFI. Not sure a Mac ROM is available for that card, but I guarantee you that the only issue is that the Mojave installer just isn't liking it reporting as a Radeon HD 7XXX. Also, I'm not 100% sure Apple has added official support for the Mac Pro 5,1 yet. You can try using Mojave Patcher, just be sure that you deselect the Legacy Video Card Patch when running the post-install tool. Or, you may not even need to run the post-install tool at all.I just tried installing the first public beta Mojave on my Mac Pro 4,1 (early 2009) that had the EFI flashed so it reports as a Mac Pro 5,1. I have an Asus HD7870 GPU which should support Metal. I've ran the GFXBench Metal app which seems to indicate Metal support. Yet, when I attempt installing Mojave, I get an error message about Metal. My Filevault was never turned on. Am I out of luck with this Asus GPU or has the requirements changed since Mojave was first announced?

I used the Mojave Patcher and selected already downloaded(not with this tool) Mojave Developer Preview1 and proceeded.
At the end it showed "..../macOS Mojave Patcher.app/Contents/Resources/dp1/OSInstall.mpkg: No such file or directory"
Could you please let me know if I missed anything or did something wrong...
Used this on Macbook pro late 2011 13"

It worked! Thanks! Loving the new dark mode.Happened with me too, had to use startosinstall to install the PB1. Seems a bug on the installer app.
The latest now is 0.1b2. As of now, Software Update will not work to install system updates, as I still need to verify whether or not the Software Update patch used in High Sierra works in Mojave.Hello Dosdude1,
I downloaded your mojave patcher earlier today and the version I have is 0.1b1.
Is that the latest or should I re-download? I am specifically interested in public beta 1.
When I last used your app, the macOS version is developer beta 1 (18A341h).
On another note, will I be able to update (via "software update" inside Mojave dev beta 2) instead of re-installing from scratch?.
Thank you and best regards.
I'll give it a try dosdude1 and report back.
Ok, must have needed ALL the 10.12 AMD kexts... Just updated it to include them. Download again, and copy macOS Post Install.app (from Mojave Patcher.app/Contents/Resources) to /Applications/Utilities of your USB installer, boot from the USB installer, and run the post-install patch again.Sadly, no. With and without Legacy Video patch at post-install, both end with the KP screen in 6 languages after progress bars reaches about 2/3rds.
