I can’t see my boot drive when I click to Option key. I can see the drives on disk utility on the installer I reinstalled patch but when I try to boot I am getting prohibited sign. I choosed start up driver restart but nothing changed. I also reinstall latest version of Mojave to my driver and install patch again but nothing changed.

Should I make clean install or is it possible to fix this issue?

Edit: I made clean install but still can’t boot and stil getting prohibited sign. I don’t get is what’s going on.

I installed macOS Mojave on MacBook Pro 17 (late 2011) using "macOS Mojave Patcher" tool, and now built-in microphone (and also Siri) don't work. I google a lot for fix/solution without luck. I try 'setting/private", app/utilitles/audio midi", "setting/sound" - nothing work. Any idea how to make mic working again?

ps. I can change slider settings on "master stream", 1 and 2 - they are disabled
Is this a hardware problem or software settings?
When making a video call with a mac - I hear only the noise instead of the sound

Updated my MacBook Air 4,2 to 10.14.4 this morning. Created a new USB installer.
I ran into a small issue this morning when I Installed, patched, and rebooted. I was greeted by the prohibitory symbol, but just had to repatch and then it restarted just fine.

Thanks @dosdude1 !

I just installed Mojave 10.14.4.10, using @dosdude1 's Mojave Patcher 1.3.0, onto a Mid 2009 Macbook (5,2), and I'm seeing some problems, even after using Patch Updater to reinstall all patches. For the Mojave installer app, I used a copy I downloaded using the App Store/Software Update instead of the version that Mojave Patcher downloads--could this have anything to do with it? Here are the problems I've seen so far:

• Backlight is dim and brightness can't be changed using the F1/F2 keys. The utility "Brightness Slider" works, but it doesn't make the F1/F2 keys work.

• The News app crashes after a few seconds.

• Siri doesn't work--clicking the Siri icon in the menu bar just causes it to beep twice, open its small window for a second, and then the window closes. During one of my attempts to launch Siri, a crash log opened, but not for my half-dozen other attempts.

I can post crash reports if it might help.

Other than those things, it's working fine! (though with the expected older bugs with this Macbook model--no iSight camera, DVD Player doesn't work, etc.).

Used the updated patcher to create a bootable 10.14.4 to install on my MacBook Pro Early 2011. Installed without issue and everything works.
[doublepost=1553609784][/doublepost]
Got updated really fast though (not worried about late for school anymore haha) But had anyone saw the 3 ios apps crash on 10.14.4 especially News app. May be it's a IOS framework-related problems or something else??o_O
Have you tried reinstalling and see if that helps?

Hi, all
MacBookPro 5,3 updated successfully to 10.14.4

Capture d’écran 2019-03-26 à 13.53.53.png

But:
- Siri doesn't work
- iSight doesn't work (worked fine with 10.14.3)

EDIT:
- Siri work well with Larsvohier solution #12894 (Thanks Larsvohier)

Alright, I found an issue with News app (Was reading the crash log and immediately found the solution :)).

The new feature that Apple added to News app is News+. That is the reason that makes News app crash. To prevent News crashing, when launch, simply leave the News+ section untouch. You now can browse for other sections, topics,... BUT ONE THING TO REMEMBER: DO NOT CLICK THE News+ SECTION.

EDIT: The second workaround for News app is to change your App Store region, which Apple News supports. I have done a lot of research and found that this issue is only available in the US and Canada (simply because they supports News+). I have done this and News app worked perfectly.

I’ve seen a few reports of Siri crashes and iOS app crashes. I will be adding the Siri patch by @Larsvonhier to my patcher and I encourage @dosdude1 to do the same. As for the iOS app crashes, I don’t have a solution for those but apparently opening the Apple News+ section will break the News app. Avoid doing this and if you do then remove your News app preferences file. I don’t know if that will fix it but I recommend it since it’s the only thing I can think of. You can use an app like AppCleaner to remove all files associated with the News app. Don’t remove the News app itself, just the other files.

I have another Macbook 5.2 and I have the same problems.

- Backlights buttons doesn't work. The probem it's similar than the imac 7.1. Brightness slider solve the problem (i don't like this program. I think it's better solution the apple system, but it's a workaround).

- Siri doesn't work.

- I'm in spain, so i can't try the news app.

¿Any solution for this troubles?

I guess this Airport wifi card "0x14E4, 0x93" doesn't require the "Wifi Patch", or if requires it, doesn't need the BCM4321 wifi fix, but a previous HighSierra "IO80211Family.kext" and "corecapture*.kext" or even a previous Mojave ones are suffice.

My Macbook 2010 has the same identical Airport wifi card.

Using @dosdude1 1.3.0 patcher I cannot get my computer to boot into 10.4.4! I downloader a fresh copy of the installer through the patcher, created the USB and installed it. It seems to install fine, I reboot the system and apply the post install patches and then reboot to get to the system setup but it just keeps booting back to the USB.

I am on a MBP 5,4 and using an internal SSD with the APFS file system and APFS Patch selected in the post install patches. Any ideas? Thanks.

I was reading and apple have revisited all those "universal" apps News, Siri, but I remember on a previous machine I encountered a similar "panic CPU" due to the wrong Wifi kext.

Only SiriUI.framework needs to be replaced. I will be releasing a patch for Siri via Patch Updater later today.

Champion! I was actually thinking the same as Larsvonhier on page 516 first suggested only replacing SiriUI.framework and then on page 519 decided to replace more Siri frameworks.
