I've had nothing but problems trying to get Mojave to run on my late 2015 21.5" iMac. I even installed an external SSD thinking the problem was y slow fusion drive. My problems included repeated bouncing beach ball, frequent frozen apps requiring force quits, unreliable Finder, etc.
I finally reinstalled High Sierra, which runs super fast with the SSD.
I believe the problem is the limited 8 GB memory. Too bad that Apple did not design a way to upgrade the memory on the late 2015 model.
Has anyone got Mojave to run properly on the late 2015 iMac?
open your terminal then open the zip file drop the install.sh in terminal follow the commands and it should there is also another one some pages back that is called boot recovery fix that works also if you are using APFS
the other one is on page 562 if others are having issues betting into recovery I used that one and also have safe mode back as well on m iMac and used jacklukes script on my MacBook 5,2 so they both workThis works!!! First time to get into recovery mode since Sierra! Thanks!
I actually downloaded Tech Preview 12.2 from the links posted by webg3 above, but it refuses to open it on 10.14.3. Plist file might need adjustment, I am not sure where though.

Keep a copy of that you might have to reapply it if you update againThis works!!! First time to get into recovery mode since Sierra! Thanks!
My .4 KPs randomly too. I also noticed that it's while or after I play in Preferences with OpenGL based screen savers. I'm thinking there may be an issue with the retro-patched .4 ( ie. .4 with post-install .3 OpenGL and GPUSupport) It does get us up and running in accelerated mode on .4 though. So no big complaints, but .3 is the most stable and reliable patched configuration for now IMHO. Depends on what you do.
I cannot guarantee they will work on any legacy penryn cpu machine, I have only tested on machines natively APFS, but even if this is a future version, I guess if you chown/chmod and kextcache them correctly they could work even on 10.14.3 .
I can upload, they are relatively small.
Unfortunately this did not work for me. I am wondering if somebody was able to achieve a working USB on a 2008-2009 Macs without the LegacyUSB injector?
How in the world is this possible? They're blocking OpenGL but just handing us working USB kexts?I have tested and used these 10.14.5 beta 2 IOUSB*.kext on my Mojave 10.14.3 18D109, so using a future group of kexts on a previous OSX build, and they worked perfectly both on 2010 and 2011 machines. Maybe 2009 and earlier machines still require the old IOUSB kexts and injector.
GeForce 210 works 10.14.4
I'm pretty sure it works on the latest beta 10.14.5

Hi guys, I need your insights now. I have an old classic Mac Pro (Early 2009) with firmware upgrades and a Radeon RX Vega 64. Running 10.14.3 was perfect, but now I brainlessly upgraded to 10.14.4 and now I have in Safari and iTunes severe audio artefacts, like crackling and stuttering. I would now like to go back to 10.14.3 and stay there probably forever.
Since it took me several days to install all my applications and drivers for peripherals, I am looking for an easier way:
1) is there a patch for this issue, like a patched kext or so?
2) Is there a way to downgrade to .3 without having to re-install the whole system?
Thanks for your help!
Well... I guess my issues are meaningless. I have donated to @dosdude1 and asked for help when I needed it, and got a couple standard answers, and then just got completely ghosted.
It seems that not donating gets you more help. I'm back on El Capitan, and never messing with this sketchy BS again.
First of all, after the firmware upgrade you should have a supported machine (Mac Pro 5,1 [Early 2009])
it should look like this:

As many stated here before, it should be possible to just install 10.14.3 on top without losing any data.
Back up your machine and just run the 14.3 installer.
What kind of audio playback device are you using? Maybe it's just a matter of settings or an incompatible driver.
I installed 10.14.4 on various older Mac Pros without issues.
Anyone else getting lesser Bluetooth performance on Mojave? Under El Capitan with a Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle it would remember my two different headphones, and I simply had to turn them on to use them. Now with Mojave I have to properly pair them every time.
This is on a Mac Mini 3,1 running 10.14.3 BTW. Not a big deal at all, but I just wanted to see if others had still working but degraded Bluetooth functionality. There are also occasional audio blips on YouTube videos that are not there on my phone.

Don't know, AFAIK using .5 beta1 IOUSB didn't worked, I mechanically replaced always IOUSB and telemetry plug. ASentientBot noticed first that .5 beta2 IOUSB worked OOB.
@timidpimpin if you retry to install 10.14.3 or .4 , try these: Bluetooth Mojave GM untouched kexts
Apple Release notes for .4 specifically mention Safari issues when upgrading to 12.1. Check those out, they may or may not help. You can reinstall .3 on top of .4 without losing data. Beware of apps you installed or upgraded while in .4 though. Always safer to simply reinstall those. YMMV.Hi guys, I need your insights now. Nice to know didn’t think of that. Some SSDs emit RFI strong enough to limit the range of BT especially if the SSD is in the upper bay near the antennae. YMMV
