Hi
Experimented with Mojave Patcher.
I'm trying to get a GeForce GTX 260.

Also copied a file about which parrotgeek1 wrote - /System/Library/Frameworks/coredisplay.frameworkfrom 10.14 beta 1.
The result is identical.

I tried all patches of models in Mojave Patcher.
For patches under imac11.2, imac11.3, imac12.1, macbookair4.1, macbookair4.2, macbookpro6.1, macbookpro6.2, macmini5.1, macmini5.2, macmini5.3 - the result is bad.
Unless on patches from laptops that were started both monitors, but the second monitor went duplicating.

For patches under imac11.1, imac12.2, macbookpro8.1-8.3, macpro4.1 - the most successful result at the moment:
namely to define 2 monitors, the resolution on the second monitor is also identical, on the first 1024x720;
and only on these patches after the login screen allows to log into the system, but after almost complete initialization of the system hangs tightly, also the top bar menu as if it is not active and darkened.

Also I want to note that the system runs without any correct drivers and everything works there, only friezes and artifacts.
NVDANV50HalTesla is loaded without errors, only as I understood the identification of the NDRVShim load can not be determined.

My system Hackintosh - identify imac11,1.
Intel i5-750 3Ghz (Overlocking)
GeForce GTX 260
MSI P55-CD53
SSD Kingston 240GB

Successfully run macOS 10.13.5.

Help me, please.

Why did u not change the smbios to something newer (like imac from 2012 or newer) and replace the VGA with a cheap but a bit more modern one (like something that are nVidia Kepler based 630 or 730)? After that, you can simply install 10.14 like before.

It is (from developer 2 to developer 3). But if you have public beta 1, then you have to wait until public beta 2 is available). Just note that developer 2 = public 1.
I've tried to update from the pref panel but nothing appears, I need to create new USB installer to update?

As I got Mojave working about a half a month ago I even forgot about this and came back here. Do you recommend Developer Beta 3 on MacBook Pro 15" Early 2011? I know that Intel GPU should still work just fine but how does sound and other things + status about AMD?
[doublepost=1530875089][/doublepost]
Have anyone tried external GPU with MBP2011 via thunderbolt? Does it switch correctly between iGPU and eGPU?
Does full acceleration works with eGPU enabled?
I would like to test it right now but I don't have any TB docks at home neither anywhere. But I think that it can work somehow.

Nothing have changed, basically. Minor UI glitches and incorrect LCD font smoothing are still present while using HD3000, but overall acceleration is ok - maps, CoreUI applications, safari works flawlessly. Hope we can find out how to fix grey bar in light mode, menu borders in dark mode, and font smoothing in some applications. Maybe Apple will fix it in GM... For now I would wait, there is no point for you to update. Hope my reply helps!

Try installing the latest "trunk" build of Chromium, which likely has already been fixed for Mojave:
https://chromium.woolyss.com/

click on the top one, where "Installer" is highlighted in blue.

If it works (fixes were in fact implemented), then you can expect those fixes to make it "downstream" into Chrome stable in about 1-2 months. (!) No wonder it doesn't work on Chrome stable/Official Build...

Chromium is super extra incredibly bleeding edge and lacks the "Widevine" DRM monster (no netflix, hulu), "Pepper" Flash (so no adobe flash/shockwave) and any other proprietary code/codecs like h.264, so it will play Youtube perfectly fine (if it has been fixed for Mojave) but some other websites will break. Youtube by default uses VP9, so it is unaffected by the uninclusion of proprietary codecs.

It does not auto-update. Chrome Canary is a few days behind, so test Chromium first.

You betcha, just do a

find /System/Library/Frameworks -name '*.framework' and a
find /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks -name '*.framework'

on both HS and Mojave and then run a diff between the two output file lists.

(the -name is to find nested frameworks within another one, so to get a complete list)

Attachments on DP1 are broken for me, and I haven't yet updated, so if someone could run those commands on Mojave and High Sierra and /usr/bin/diff the two outputs and post that, it would be a great help.

THANKS! Chromium worked right outta the gate. I appreciate it. Very cool. I may test Canary as well. Chromium is giving me issues with 1password but I think I can possibly work around that through terminal. Thanks iPhone 2G-3G. I appreciate it.

I'm using the mojave in my mbp late 2011 since 3 days ago. And all it is allright, except the transition in the wallpaper of the dinamic desktop between the night and the day. The transition between the day and the night worked perfectly.

I think that’s a Mojave bug not the result of a patched system.

I am currently running High Sierra on my MacBookPro 17" late 2008 with DosDude's patchers

MB166LL/A Model A1261 (EMC2199) MacBookPro4,1 2.5 Ghz Core2Duo(T9300) GeForce 8600M GT

While it doesn't look good is there any chance Mojave will eventually run on my machine? (computer specs in the link below)

Hard to predict, specialists here working on it. Currently, this computer platform has two issues with Mojave (or vice versa): a) Processor C2D and b) NVIDIA-only graphics

Try ASUS USB-N13 Adapter. Working fine with Mojave.

I have enabled “reduce transparency” in Accessibility Settings and turned off font smoothing, which seems to clean up a lot of the UI glitches on my MacBook Air 4,2. I miss the transparency of the dock a little but am happier that the menu bar is white again and side panes of finder are readable.

Install instructions here.

In my experience VirtualBox has been a bit of a hassle to use for macOS guests. I'd use Parallels if I were you, it walks you through the whole process and doesn't require any patches at all.

Actually, I found a script that automates installing and running macOS in VirtualBox.

No! Add airportatheros40 kext from 10.13. (it's inside io80211family). I've told like 6 people this...

I am the man who wrote a patch for Sierra and High Sierra to enable software update but currently i am not working on a version for Mojave.
Do you know if HS version works already?
