Iam not sure if we cant manipulate back what apple has does with his pixel clock changes.. this must be done in some way because it works nice before macOS 14.1. This pixel clock limit does not make sense if the Macbook is connected over power supply! hmmm

@waydabber is there any way for BD to take action for manipulate the driver oder kernel restrictions that defines the pixel clock?

Iam not sure if we can manipulate it with EDID, so if we set EDID pixel clock restriction for apples define pixel clock so does macOS fall back to normal pixel clock?

I know this thread is a little dead, but I have a side by side comparison showing the M4 is specifically limited in its HDR output - side by side comparison of 1440p HiDPi on the exact same monitor and cable of an M3 Pro and M4 Pro.

I've got a ticket in with Apple Support, but I'm 99% sure they've attributed my issues to the wrong ticket internally and that won't do us much good.

Still an issue on the 18.4 beta as well :/

Do any of them support the 3008x1692 resolution, and with HDR? I've still not upgraded from Ventura since that resolution works totally fine with it, but not in any later macOS version. :(

3008x1692 works for me in HDR on the Dell AW3225QF if I lower the refresh rate to 60hz in 15.3.1.
