Anyone having problems with iCalendar and iCloud calendars?
On PB1 I have the problem with sync icloud calendars in iCalendar app (Gmail accounts works fine)

Your calendar couldn't be refreshed.
The server did not recognise your username or password for account

"iCloud". Make sure you enter them correctly.

So annoying....I need to disconnect and connect again icloud calendars within the app every 2h......all the other services works fine
this is happening for a number of people (including me, sigh); you should report it on feedback app 👍

MacOS 26 beta 5 fixed the problem with VSL Vienna Ensemble Pro server where midi and audio were not coming through to the Cubase, Digital Performer, Logic Pro 11, Ableton Live 12 and the latest Pro Tools....

I am occasionally seeing the same thing. I will not be too concerned unless I continue to see it in the final release.

If you find something working incorrectly in beta software "annoying", then you're probably not the correct candidate to be on the beta testing program imho. That's not to say that thing's aren't frustrating in beta software versions, but instead of voicing frustration in a public forum, understand what you signed up for, be a good beta tester and submit a well constructed bug report to Apple via the provided tool. It feels good when an issue you report gets resolved, not only have you helped yourself, you've played your part in improving the macOS experience for everyone, which is what the beta program is for.

I experimented with Google Drive on a Mac mini M2 on beta 5. Seems to be working correctly. I've added to the wiki.

It's in alpha 3 now, a beta version may be around the corner.

Bartender Alpha 3 is slowing my computer to a crawl. My trackpad cursor was disappearing. I was getting high reports of CPU levels. I had to quit the app in order to restore my Mac to normal usage.

I submitted feedback to Bartender customer support, but I have heard so many bad things about this new developer that I am not certain they will immediately address the problem.

I would rather not have to switch to ICE or BARBEE. I have been a loyal Bartender user for years.

I will be waiting for the beta version of Bartender. I would prefer to stay with it, but moving to Ice is a possibility if the new Bartender developer moves away from the quality software it was up to now.

FWIW, a recent Ice beta update fixed the only other issue I've had with the app.. For a bit, in Ice settings, you couldn't arrange the icons the way you wanted (but could still click and drag in the actual Menu Bar). This is now fixed and the app works just the same as it did in macOS 15.x

The Wacom driver stopped working again in Beta 6.
Tested driver versions 6.4.9-2 and 6.4.10-3

I have been unable to open Adobe Lightroom Classic since beta 4, it crashes on the splash screen. How are others getting on the same, or is it a me issue?

TIA

Public Beta 2:

CleanShot X 4.8.2 - No Problems so far.
Microsoft Outlook 16.99.2 (25072714) - no Crashes at all
Devonthink 4.0.2 - No Crash on exit and sync on exit
Blackmagic Desktop Video 15 - works don't forget to accept the new drivers
Blackmagic Davinci Resolve 20 + 20.1 - no problems so far.
OBS - works
Amaran Desktop - works

I cannot activate Notifications for the Weather application. In the Notifications Settings, the main switch to "Allow Notifications" is stuck in the Off position and cannot be moved to the On position.

In fact, after having the issue with the Weather application, I realized that the main switch is locked for all applications. I only tried for a dozen applications (from Apple and from other developers), and all main switches are locked. If they are in the On position, they cannot be moved back to the Off position. Still the same after a restart. I am not sure if it was not there before the latest macOS 26 update.

Anybody else has the same issue?
