hmm. not 'clearing the cache & logging out', and nothing's changed on reboot (i did disable SIP to do this)....
EDIT: system files (ie folders etc) still seem unchangeable (and the 'this system not supported' message is still there). all i can say is:
EDIT EDIT: well, the default folder has changed, as has the dock trash can. but no system folders (ie the home folders), no finder icon in the dock. so pretty unpredictable... anyone else?
I too noticed that the "clear cache and log out" didn't work, but after a couple of restarts the folders did change. Didn't try changing the finder or desktop icons. Then High Sierra started to act up, finally had to restore my old Mac Pro to Sierra. HS caused my Crucial MX300 SSD to start showing "bad blocks" errors. A firmware update for the SSD and a revert back to Sierra fixed that. I really doubt that APFS is 100 % ready for prime time, though it may be close enough to use on newer hardware. The 2009 Mac Pro I use does not like HS, definitely.Yeah, clear cache and log out does not work as before, but all my swapped icons did change with the exception of Finder.
Wow, what did you do to get that price? It shows as $69.99 from the same link for me.

EDIT: Digging through folders I notice a couple of anomalies so clearly a few things need worked out, but on the whole it is doing the job (if not yet as well as in Sierra)
EDIT EDIT: I found something here:
https://gist.github.com/fabiofl/5873100
This command: sudo find /private/var/folders/ -name com.apple.dock.iconcache -exec rm {} \;
followed by logging out the user does seem to have cleared the icon cache and switched to me replacements.
Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere.
On major issue with 10.13 that is driving me crazy: Anytime I type in the Outlook (O365 version) search box, Outlook immediately crashes. Running the latest Outlook.
Thanks for that news... Dropbox is critical to my workflow... so good to know there's issues before I upgrade.Just installed High Sierra 10.13.1 beta and now I see that DropBox refuses to launch.
And before anyone asks, I did download the latest DB version, still a no-go.
In addition, I released Timing v2.2.1 today which explicitly supports High Sierra. Could anyone with edit rights please update the list accordingly? Thanks!
