I installed this. The "Show Priority Messages" in Mail is disabled (grayed out) for mailboxes for all Mail accounts except for iCloud. There is no way to enable it for me for "All Inboxes" or my Yahoo Mail account.

In iOS and iPad 18.4 the "show priority" shows up for all mail accounts and on "All Inboxes". Can anyone confirm this doesn't work in MacOS 15.4?

macOS 15.4 introduces a new bug.

For all the MacOS versions going back years I could choose the desktop background colour using the colour picker.

Now this fails, with the desktop being "very white" no matter which colour I choose.

Note you can still choose animated or images, and you can choose one of the preselected coloured circles, but not from the colour picker (accessed by clicking "+" in the current version of the config pane).

A couple external drives aren’t showing in Disk Utility after updating. That’s a bummer.

Anyone else noticing that the unread badge for the Mail app now includes unread Trash emails too?

I updated and mail won't send...I set up email to send using Apple Mail, click on the Send icon, it goes grey and...nothing...mail does not send, icon stays greyed out. Quit mail, try it again, same thing. Grrr.

Also cannot buy anything from app store or apple tv...the option is not there. 15.4 is pretty buggy...if these are the ones I have found, I am betting there are plenty more. Apple advisors unable to do anything, no idea how to handle this.

-----

Next day...I can now buy from the app store but not music or movies or tv shows...so Apple is slowly responding to these errors.

-----
With my 8th apple advisor we did some actual troubleshooting, the problem persists, so escalated to engineers. We did figure out it is user specific, in other words when I created a test user these issues did not appear.

I read here that now Apple Intelligence is available also for Italian:

However, this is the Siri pane in System Settings:

So nothing changed.

Is there anyone who knows something more about this?

Additionally, Image Playground does not seem that intelligent:

Siri language must be set to match system language - otherwise Apple Intelligence can not be enabled. Even if when one is English UK and other is English US it is not possible to enable Apple Intelligence.

System- and Siri language have to be both set to Italian to make the new Siri work.

Image Playground will only work after having the new Siri loaded (all modules downloaded)

Restart in the safe mod
FYIW, I ended up uninstalling Microsoft Defender and that fixed it. I first tried a reboot, then a reboot into Safe Mode. Then I noticed Safari hanging when trying to get to any pages at all, along with Finder being slower than it should be, and my two drives not mounting. Checked Activity Monitor and Safari was at something like 400% CPU, but then Defender was right behind it. I had had an issue with Microsoft Defender in the past and removed it, not sure why I reinstalled it but after removing it and rebooting, everything's loading up super quick again. It also looked like Defender was using up to about 10GB of Memory, too! Yikes..
