MacOS Windows focus bug

I have been an apple products user since 2010, now I'm really tired of this and I feel disappointed.
 
Likewise. This feels like a bug that was just abandoned.

For research purposes, can you guys please list down what type of setup you have?

For example, I have an Apple M1 Pro with 2x ultrawide 3440x1440 external monitors connected directly to the laptop via USB-C and HDMI ports.

This issue doesn't go away for several years now. The only salvation I have is the AutoRaise app, which slightly mitigates the issue.
 
I just started having this issue after upgrading to Sequoia. The app I'm working in just completely "freezes" but if you click to the desktop or switch to another app and then back to the original app everything is ok. Very frustrating. It seems to be happening more frequently lately.

I also have Apple M1 Pro with an ultrawide monitor connected via dual USB-C hub.

The worst aspect for me is that keyboard focus sticks on another window, so I’ll inadvertently send my keystrokes to the wrong window. Then start closing windows within the multiwindow app where focus isn’t working.

I close windows many times a day to get around these issues, often times barely thinking about it, though I know it’s hurting my productivity.
