...and world no.3 golfer Adam Scott
Not to nit-pick, but Adam Scott isn't the current #3 in the world. That would be Phil. Unless this pic is like a year and a half old. He did get to #3 back in spring of '07, after winning the Shell Houston.

I don't want to take anything away from Adam though. He is a fantastic player; probably right behind Sergio on the "Best Without A Major" list. Just doesn't seem to be able to string together anything good these last few years to get back up there (Currently World #17).

These were a couple of photos of a pub crawl in canterbury

I wouldn't say that :) a lot of us glasses folk think the same thing. I was dead set on laser eye surgery but my girlriend said she preferred me with specs

Yeah I wanted to get laser surgery too but the price and the fact i totally abuse wearing contacts prevented me from getting it done. I just don't like the way glasses feel on my face, but oh well I guess  I like lying down on the couch watching tv and sometimes my glasses just get in the way.

Don't know where I got that info, PGA bio says he only got as high as #4 in 2006.

Met Phil too....
According to this site, he was up to #3 from the start of the 2007 season. That was, until Phil won at Pebble, and then Adam dropped behind him to #4.

I like Phil too, btw. He gets a bad wrap from people and whatever, but I like the guy. I admire someone who sees a shot, and wants to give it a go. I personally wouldn't have the guts to try even half of the stuff he does.

The last time I saw that radio, some big guy was walking down the street with it on his shoulder - powered with at least 24 D-cell batteries.

I think it was in 1984. I'm a little shady on the exact date though, being 24 years ago and all. ;)

I love it now as much as I loved it then, it is a great model. Nice to know I can use it for external computer speakers for now, at least until I can an actual pair. I remember listening to my first copy of Appetite for Destruction with it, it was great.
