We all have a purpose. We can't all be the same. But we are all needed in some way. We are all needed to make the world work. Look a bit outside your own sphere, and realize that all of us are helping in some way.

And of course, there are bad apples in every bunch. That doesn't mean that any one profession is all bad or all good.

I've had to make peace with a lot of it, ya know? I have friends that make their living completely from their art (like me). I also have some friends who've busted their butts making money and are disgustingly rich (I mean tens of millions). These guys have done so much for the community with what they have. They help inner city kids with their own cash and also fund new filmmakers and artists. I wish more people with money did what these guys do. Like I said, we all have a role to play. We just need more people to get in the game.

I hear you on the $ thing! I wish i would win the lottery, i seriously would give more of it away than i would keep. I would donate to places like ASPCA, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, World Wild Life Foundation... Places like that. I really wish these celebrity's would do more positive things like that!
 
our cd release party went down last night! lets just say it was a huge success and we made a fair chunk of change!

p.s. the album is currently being processed to be on itunes. ill keep you all posted!
