We can see your Power Mac G4 in the reflection, and that's the MacBook, right? Next time you'll have to stand in front of your iMac. :)
Haha. I wish. If only I had an iMac. But yes, I have a Power Mac G4 and a MacBook. You can also see my 17-inch Apple CRT above my MacBook.

Warning, super cuteness directly below:

Pffttt!!! I'm way cuter then you... Notice the necklace? Yeah, that's right, super cute. :p

Everyone has said I look sad in that picture though... Not sure why, the only reason I wasn't smiling was because I looked funny in it when smiling.

We'll let the ladies decide. Plus, I've been paid to look good - have you? :p

By the way, I'm the MacRumors Bastard, so just having some fun, nothing personal - it's a pleasure to meet you! ;)

How about we leave it as we are both extremely cute - sound good? :D

I don't care what the ladies think... :p

You think a straight man can look as good as me? I think not.
:p;)

(Not kidding about The Gay)

Edit: Fine fine fine, you're cute too. ;)

It's too bad the pictures have to be appropriate, or else I'd be able to double the size no problem. ;) heheheh

Last week I was seriously wondering who does those civil war reenactments!

Now I know

Yep! It's basically a bunch of us guys who just haven't outgrown our childhoods yet...only now we get to play with real guns and explosives. ;)

It's a lot of fun though, I absolutely love it.

I mean how do you get into that and how do you organize that many people to do it? And where do you do it?

You basically have to either know someone who does it and they help you get into it, or you can generally walk into the camp at an event and let a unit know that you're interested in reenacting and they'll usually suit you up with some loaner gear and take you out with them that day.
We're all members of our own companies and regiments, and we schedule our different events throughout the year that we want to go to, so you're usually there with your regular group of guys. The event hosts basically just circulate information about an event that they want to have, and the different units sign up saying they'll be there.
I travel all over the state doing the events with my unit, which we have around 2 events a month between September and April (too hot during the summer). Typically, we do one or two out of state events a season, this year's being the Battle of Atlanta this past November and the 145th Gettysburg this upcoming July.

So...who wins?
Actually it depends on the event and the day. If it's just a generic event (ie, not an actual reenacted battle or a national event) down here in the South, the Union usually wins on Saturday and the Confederates usually win on Sunday. If it's a scripted battle, obviously we follow the way it actually went, and the result is historically accurate. Then we also have tactical battles, where we get to pretty much have to plan out our strategy, play it out and see who comes out on top.
