Finnish sounds like Elvish to me, as in what the elves speak in Lord of the Rings.

The interesting thing is that Tolkien's Elvish is derivated from a language used in an old Finnish folk song thingy called Kalevala with Latin grammar.

So now wonder you think it sounds the same. :)

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to de-nerd myself a bit.
 
Kalevala is an old poemish book though. And i must add that old finnish is totally different from the language we speak today. I didnt know the LoTR/Elvihs language thing, it sounds weird to me, i guess finnish IS weird then.. :p Now im off though, i must go shopping...
