The interesting thing is that Tolkien's Elvish is derivated from a language used in an old Finnish folk song thingy called Kalevala with Latin grammar.
So now wonder you think it sounds the same.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to de-nerd myself a bit.
One of the major story lines in Tolkien's "background" work the Silmarillion was essentially stolen directly from the Kalevala (Túrin Turambar == Kullervo). There was a heavy influence of the Kalevala in most of his work. It's more than just Finnish poems, it's really a book of Mythology (the Finnish national epic). Tolkien loved it so much, he taught himself Finnish so he could read it without translation.

The jacket is cool, though. I almost bought one very, very similar from Gap for $30 (on sale). Well my wife has a 'do like that and she certainly isn't b****y.....unless the asterisks are covering up eaut.
Sure it all depends on what kind of hair and face you have but I think women can look equally beautiful with short or long......of course it helps if you are beautiful anyway I guess

Certainly to each his own - but I've never seen a single female anywhere, without exception, who looks equally beautiful with short hair as with long.
There are certainly some women who are quite beautiful with short hair - and universally, they would all look even better with long.
My opinion - YMMV.
Like you say, each to his (or her) own. But I would dispute that you can't be equally gorgeous with short or long hair. I give you Charlize Theron and Eva Longoria. Both sporting long and short hair and both looking equally beautiful I would say.
