Funny you mentioned Jamesons, because I went to a Jamesons whisky tasting 2 nights ago. :D We had the standard, 12 y.o, 18 y.o., and some Super-Duper Gold Ice Diamond Edition releases. I had never had the 18 year and Gold releases, so that was great!

And I bought the Tullamore Dew is just to switch it up a bit. I'm usually buying Jamesons, Blantons Special Reserve (it's their "normal" bourbon release, AFAIK), or whatever half-decent Scotch is cheap-ish at my regular shop that week. Blantons is the best of my regular whiskies. :) Currently, that Scotch is an Abelour 10 y.o. (1st time buyer, nothing special....), but I'll try anything for the first time!!

My "once in awhile" bottles are the Caol Ila and Cragganmore 12 y.o., but only because these are the most recent "good" bottles I have purchased.

what beer is that-

doesn't look Kosher....I thought he was supposed to be a nice orthodox Jewish man...

(I am a jew FYI)

I'm a Jew as well. I don't drink beer and it was several years ago so I'm not exactly sure what it is. I'm also not sure how you could tell just from the bottle neck...

While it was good, I wasn't all that impressed by Tullamore Dew (this after I bought a litre of it my first time out...) And the Jameson that comes in the red label isn't as good as the regular Jameson, in case you haven't tried it yet. :)

And Single Malts, well, I love a good malt. :D I recommend anything from Balvenie or Macallan, or Talisker (only available in a 10). Excellent for nosing or sipping.

I've had all of those. ;) Balvenie 12 y.o. is my favourite, and The Macallan is.......ok. Too smooth, IMO. That makes it good, but also a bit boring. It depends on my mood, I think. Also, I can't remember the Macallan, since I haven't had it in 2 years!!

And the Jamesons 12 y.o. (aka: one with red label) is a bit better than the standard one, and nowhere near as good as the 18 y.o., which I only got to try recently at the Jamesons Whisky tasting night I mentioned earlier.

It's been several years since I have posted in the post a pic of yourself thread so I will update. My other picture is in an MR photo album somewhere around here.

I'm fresh out of a major surgery so I'm on some good meds and kinda relaxed at the moment laid up in recovery. :)
