What makes him a "hipster"? He's wearing a shirt and eating. I did that today as well. I was wearing different clothes, but also wore a shirt with a collar, and I was eating.....with a fork!!!!

The statistical sum of visual influences such as the glasses, the plaid, and the part in his hair are what bring the word "hipster" into relative entropically diminutive cognizance. :)

Naice cut, eating at Whole Foods I see?

Thanks! And yup! Was visiting central park and there is a huge one right next to it. One of the biggest hot bar sections I've seen in a whole foods.

Where else is a hipster going to eat?

Seriously, what's with all the hipsters?

I suppose I may be hip, but I can only take that as a complement.
Really though, as somebody said, I am wearing a shirt and eating. If a decent taste in clothing and a healthy diet are wrong then I don't want to be right.

And you realize that making fun of me for wearing glasses is essentially making fun of me for a physical defect. But I am not naive enough to think that you are simply making fun of the fact that I wear glasses, but that I happen to wear a more aesthetically pleasing pair than most. What this all boils down to is that you may be a bit insecure and feel that you would not be able to pull off wearing much more than an ordinary t-shirt and a bowl cut. And there is of course nothing wrong with such an outfit if it is what the wearer is comfortable in and feels suits him/her best. Although if you are wearing more simple clothing just to avoid the bandwagon, then you actually hopped on a long time ago my friend, it's just heading down a different road.

Ignore the guy. Anyone who judges you based on a photo doesn't deserve your attention. You look great and your food looks yummy.

Hey thanks : )

I'm not offended by him, or trying to justify myself, just responding. You are right though.

And thank you! The food was yummy. Mostly Indian food.
