I know it's been a while since I've posted. Work has been keeping me busy as of late so no posting during work AND there have been the usual troubles with my Windows laptop (just got it back this week after three months of being out for service) so no posting after work. In any case, I thought you might be interested to see the progress in the expanding belly. Six months down and three (or so) to go....

The one in the white shirt is from about 20 weeks and the other is from about 24 weeks.

You look great now. You'll pick up speed soon and you probably won't recognise yourself for a little while. Hope things go well with the rest of the time.

I've always heard how miserable pregnant women are during the summer but I wonder if there is equivalent discomfort during the winter. I suppose it depends on whether you're warm enough normally.

Almost seems like a bit of a cop-out from building a designation over time. At least that's the neurotic reason why I'm reticent in doing it.

No advertisements. ;) Honestly, flash ads are becoming so invasive that you can't do any work and half the time the page freezes, particularly on vBulletin boards.

And you get perks you wouldn't get if you didn't pay.

You can elect to keep your current title if you so wish...plenty of contributors do.

So far it's been all right being pregnant in the colder weather. Luckily, I was only in the beginning stages during the hottest time of the year, but even then I noticed an increase in body temperature so it was slightly more unbearable than usual. I'd hate to have to deal with that and all the other later pregnancy symptoms, too.

The only part now that kind of stinks is the little issue with sickness. I'm definitely more limited in what I can take to alleviate symptoms. Case in point, the hubby and I both got a cold about the same time. He was able to take NyQuil and DayQuil and it went away in a few days. I, on the other hand, have tried to play it safe by using more homeopathic remedies, such as saline spray, a humidifier and the occasional cough drop. It's been about a week and a half and I'm still battling with a slight cough and have to spend half the morning clearing out all the stuff that's accumulated in my nose and lungs during the night. I guess that's the drawback of having a weakened immune system during pregnancy. Oh, well. I still think it's a far better trade than dealing with summer heat right now.

There sure is. Thanks for sharing, floriflee.

Nice to see the radiant floriflee again. :)

Awww.. Thanks! :) It's nice to be back. We'll see how long the lappy lasts this time. One more problem and I get to trade it in for a new one. I wonder if they'd let me swap out for a MacBook..... :D

For $25/year it's not too bad a deal....

Photo to replace, the other two.
