I finally got to a point where I was satisfied enough with the way I look to let others see it.

shadowfax: I'm not trying to treat anybody like an idiot. Regardless of my facial structure, I think its pretty clear (especially by the first round of pics) that I'm presenting myself as female. So excuse me if I'm a bit touchy around the question "are you a male or a female?" since if you haven't been on the boards for the past three years, my gender has come into question a number of times.

I think you look great.

Nice bike! I'm in the process of bike shopping right now and that looks like a pretty decent downhill/freeride rig. :)

Yeah at 53 LBS its pretty much DH only. However since my cross country bike is crap I ride it everywhere, which is quite a bitch.

Genie-Do you go to moab a lot? The trials and city there are so much fun.

jeeez - did it eat a Huffy for breakfast or something? Maybe it's that 49 pound swingarm on the back weighing you down ;)

I finally get around to posting.

Here is my wife, my son and myself at a Missouri football practice during a recent trip back home.

Nice bike... hydraulic discs, heaps of front shock travel, huge swingarm. Just one question: why does it only have Shimano Deore componentry? Surely a bike like that is worth putting on an XT or even XTR real derailleur?!
