Since my name Andre refers to a male... Andrea would be for a female.

Fair enough, but you no ever can tell with people's usernames this day and age. Although my suspicion is that Captain Cavemann's real picture probably resembles his cartoon a lot... :p ;)

the Organech Collective is what started as a group of friends who were in a band called Organech (which was spawned from other bands/friends of course :)). It has developed into a local community of artists involved in many things. it has grown much bigger than expected (content wise) and updates to any web-sites have been slow. im now attempting to merge all involoved into the umbrella which is the Organech Collective: a starting point for all artists Organech, thier friends, and interests. multiple sites are being co-developed and will also be accesible from organech.com

but for now it's just a vague webpage...

PM if you want to know more. im a full time digital artist/designer (a/v). live DJing Vjing Recording Creating and Painting ... and a geek too. :D

i hope to add content for those interested soon (animation, paintings, albums, remixes, desktops, events, prints, CDs, AACs, etc). I can email examples upon request of past work. all my photo work on MacRumors has died since i changed servers. :( but i needed to clean house anyway. thanks for the interest.

peace.

*sorry, no new pics of me yet ... i'll try to get all my old ones up again. ;) like anyone cares; im such a narcissist

Actually I find pictures like this not funny at all anymore, since my 2 months old daughter started to have epileptic seizures a few weeks ago...

Be happy that you DON'T have a problem like "this".

sorry to hear about your daughter. seizures seem complex ... do you know any good links on research?

from his tone i could tell he was joking, but if he really looks like that you just hurt his feelings ... i know people that look like that.

still a funny pic though ... laughter/comedy/truth is a complex thing also.

peace.

Epiletic seizures take many forms. I had a fellow classmate in grade school who would just freeze up, motionless.

Sorry to hear that your daughter is having seizures. I hope that they can develop a cure someday. :)

I hope your daughter is only suffering from "febrile convulsions", which are quite common in children under six, and usually fade away fairly quickly. If it's true epilepsy, many cases can be controlled with Tegretol, Carbomazepine or just plain Valium. It must be very scary for you - and for her.

I can certainly understand your feeling that way, perspective makes all the difference. Was your daughter febrile at the time of her seizure. It is not an uncommon occurrence. She will grow out of this, if that is the case. The main thing is to control her fevers aggressively.

If she does have epilepsy, at her young age it is also possible that she may grow out of these episodes. Today physicians have many medications to use. With many it's a matter of getting the proper level. The majority can be seizure free. Please let us know what the diagnosis ends up being.
