Thanks, that’s really helpful. I have an old gaming Windows desktop somewhere in the garage. Will try plugging it in. That way the iPad has access to Mac + Windows + iOS - that’s insane!

No worries dude. I'm always happy to recommend pieces of software that I think are useful to people, I use Jump all day every day and I think it's excellent value for money. It's also included in SetApp as well, so if you have a subscription to that you can use it from there.

Can I ask a question about Jump? When using it to login to a Mac remotely, is there any way to lock the host Mac so it can’t be seen/used by other people eg housemates?

Interesting. I ordered mine in the first 15 minutes, got the same 4/21-4/23 delivery window, and today it updated to 4/22. Apple generated the bulk UPS shipment at the same time as yours. In any case 4/22 is still within the original window and better than “May,” but I’m wondering if it will be updated to tomorrow.

My original order update when it went to Shipping status said delivery Wednesday. UPS first said Tuesday once the tracking # went live. They then delivered another day early.
 
I just cancelled my order. With all the information dripping in about angles, usability and weight, thee Magic keyboard might not be my first choice. I use the iPad occasionally for email correspondence and replies to this awesome forum etc. Most of times I use my iPad for pencil use or media consumption.

I think I’ll stick a little longer to my current keyboard and see one of the Magic keyboards in store for testing it live.

Ordered the 12.9“ in the US about an hour or two after availability. Got an estimate of April 24-May 1. Just saw my card charged and went to “Preparing to Ship” Monday morning. Happy to see this happen so early!

We'll know a bit more if the Magic Keyboard is serial numbered and we can figure out when it was made. My 2020 iPad Pro was manufactured in January, will be interesting if the keyboard was too.

Too early to draw any conclusions but one of the video reviews on YouTube shows a peak of the serial number - manufactured early April.

Ditto! I am super excited! I can't wait to compare this to the Brydge Pro+.
