Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro Order Status

Started mashing refresh on mine right after I saw Phil Schiller's tweet that it could now be ordered. Couldn't get an order in for about 10 minutes and then finally got it to go through--says it's arriving between 4/21 and 4/23. I'm hoping for sooner than either of those dates.

It seems to be slightly thicker and with no option to flip the keyboard to the back.

I ordered the 11" model. I'm going to be annoyed if the keyboard doesn't flip all the way back.

That is pretty much confirmed from the released ads by Apple. If you want to use it in tablet mode, you detach it from the keyboard.

I personally don’t know how I feel about that. I’m thinking not ideal...

Anybody else worried that you would have to use this iPad without the magic keyboard when using it as a tablet? I’m hoping a slim shell case will work in conjunction with the magic keyboard and its magnets. If that doesn’t work I might have to return it..

Slim shell case won’t work because Magic Keyboard and iPad connect via Smart Connector on back of iPad.

Same here on amazon.com. The order status is Delivery date pending.
 
Got April 21-23, can’t wait for this to come in, I hope it works with the switch easy coverbuddy

In the UK, dates have slipped for new orders:

11" - 24 Apr to 1 May
12.9" - 11 May to 18 May
 
Ordered: April 15th right as it was announced on Sale
Location: East Coast
Status: Processing
Estimated Arrival: April 21-23
 
Ordered yesterday. Have not been charged. delivery 24th - May 1st. Stoked.
