Yeah, a huge music collection or lots of on-device videos are really the only reasons you need a lot of storage. I got the 16 GB and it's not even close to full. I selectively sync playlists instead of my entire music collection and stream video via Netflix, ABC app, and Air Video rather than loading them onto the iPad. I also have about 4,000 photos, a bunch of books, and about 4 dozen apps. Not saying some people don't need more than 16 GB, but many can get by easily on that.

My apps alone are almost 20GB, and I don't even have that many.

People who are only using a tiny amount of space are wasting lots of potential, IMO.
Of course, that is their prerogative if they so wish...

I chose the 16GB knowing that I won't put a lot of music on here, that I will use Netflix to my advantage, and only have a few movies on here at a time. Here's what my usage looks like:

I bought the 16 GB and I've only used a few gigs. I have AirVideo which allows me to stream hundreds of my movies stored on my desktop wirelessly.

I don't have any music on it and I haven't found any huge apps yet...

Buying a 32 or 64 would have been a waste of money.

Got the 16gb 3G. My available says 8.2 gigs. Not that big on rewatching movies. Got a lot of songs though.
