Looks like all the custom launcher capability is lost with iOS 11.

Anyone have new URL for Settings app launchers?

It was written before here and in the Launcher topic that you would unfortunately lose your Settings launchers and Apple app launchers from third party widgets/apps such as Launcher, Magic Launcher.

See also this blogpost from August '17 from Crolument Labs (Launcher's developer) and my post in 'Anyone else sticking with iOS10' topic.

Quite a lot can now be launched via Apple's new iOS11 Control Center but unfortunately it also still lacks quite a few options. You can't go quickly to Settings such as 'Refresh in background', 'Location use per app', 'Notifications on apps' 'x amount of MB/GB Storage per app', Battery status (x hour of usage/standby) and Storage maintenance that are unfortunately missing in the list of options to see in the new Control Center and you can also no longer launch other various Apple apps.

It's also so odd that in iOS11 you no longer can turn off WIFI and Bluetooth within Control Center see this.

That is why my iDevices still run iOS10.3.2

Thanks for posting your response. I am really surprised that the URLs don't work, I would have thought if the URLs didnt change then the URLs should work. I haven't read anywhere that the URLs changed. Is that something we know?

The WiFi and BT disconnect toggle in the CC is a bad decision, I vehemently oppose it.

I mostly feel bad for developers of these launcher apps. This is going to have a huge negative impact on sales.

It's bizarre to me that Apple didn't open up control center to third party integration with original launch. This is the annoying stuff apple does. We'll get it in iOS 12

No longer have 3rd party access to Settings and Apple apps in iOS11 is one thing.
But we can no longer access all quick Settings (as mentioned in one of my previous posts here) and Apple apps we still had from iOS8 > iOS10 via URL schemes.

Thanks for all the help everyone!

I figured out the new Wifi and Bluetooth urls for ios 11 launcher. You have to add a hyphen like this:

App-Prefs:root=Blue-tooth
App-Prefs:root=Wi-Fi

Have you tried any others? Maybe they all just need a hyphen. How did you find that?

Actually I was wrong. what happens is Launcher will only open the Settings app but will not go to specific URLs. If the last place you were in was Bluetooth or Wi-Fi the launcher will reopen that spot. Therefore all it is reading is the App-Prefs:root portion and I already had the wifi opened. Sorry !

Aww! Nice try though.

UPDATE: These Settings URLs no longer work starting in iOS 11. Apple has removed that functionality from the Settings app. Your only choice to keep these functional would be to remain on iOS 10.

---

Apple is now apparently cracking down on app launching apps abilities to launch into the different screens within the Settings app (see latest release of Launcher from Cromulent Labs). The removal of this feature is very upsetting because the ability to go directly into the various screens of the Settings app is very handy. It seems that existing launchers still function, but evidently Apple won't allow these apps to let you create new ones going forward. So I thought I would share how one can manually create these themselves.

Most app launching apps allow you to create launchers where you input your own URL. You can use this to create your own launchers for the Settings app by following these steps. They apply to the Launcher app by Cromulent Labs, but are generally applicable to all app launching apps.
  1. Create a new launcher (Custom Launcher in the Launcher app) that allows you to set the URL.
  2. In Launcher, you can tap on the icon, choose "Custom Icon" and then "Choose App Icon". Then you can search for "settings" to see all of the previous Settings icons and choose the one you want for the new launcher. Or search for "bluetooth" or "battery", etc.
  3. Input the name of the launcher in the name field.
  4. Now it's time to set the URL. Here is a list of the URLs that can be used to launch into the various screens of the Settings app. Copy and paste the corresponding line that starts with "Prefs" into the URL field. Then save and you're done. These work on iOS 10 currently. No guarantees for other versions of iOS.

Do you have official news from Apple about this.

Check the Launcher topic or the support page or e.g. this tweet from the developer Cromulent Labs (Greg) of the Launcher widget.
See their Support/FAQ 'What happened to the Settings app launchers?':

Answer: "Apple rejected an app update and told us they would remove Launcher from the App Store if we didn't remove the Settings app launchers. So starting with Launcher v2.2.7, we no longer list Settings app launchers in the app. Note that existing Settings launchers continue to work in iOS 10, but no longer work in iOS 11."

The developers of both Launcher Pro and Magic Launcher Pro also indicated it in their App Store updates.

Launcher Pro:

version 2.2.7
Mar 15, 2017
Unfortunately Apple has forced us to remove the option to create new Settings launchers. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Magic Launcher Pro:
version 4.6
Sep 2, 2017
IMPORTANT: This update removed all Quick Settings and Settings Launchers because of new policy from Apple. From iOS 11, we can access iOS Settings via Control Center instead.
We are really sorry for this inconvenience

We lost the "Profile" app. He didn't renew it, as it was expensive and didn't work on iOS 11 anyway.

I suppose you refer to the option to see the URL scheme of an app in order to launch it you mean? I've noticed that. It's very unfortunate for us iOS10 users which were still using it. I'm now for example looking to find out the URL scheme for an app called 'Psiphon' (with going to a laptop/desktop and download the app to see it) on my iOS device if a certain app has an URL scheme or not. Let me know in case you have any suggestions. Launch Center Pro or Magic Launcher also can't find it in their database search besides Launcher Pro.

Now that this functionality is available via Shortcuts, has anyone mapped out the latest URLs for settings in iOS 15? I ‘d love to create a launcher shortcut for Hide My Email.
