As it says on their website:

The installer simply automates the process of replacing critical system files, setting registry tweaks, and installing extras such as cursors, sounds, visual styles, etc. In case you are not happy with the results of FlyakiteOSX, everything is completely removable. Just run the uninstaller from the Start Menu or from Add/Remove Programs.

FlyakiteOSX does not contain any spyware or ad-ware of any kind. All files needed for FlyakiteOSX are stored in the Windows directory in a folder named 'FlyakiteOSX' that is hidden by default. All registry values for FlyakiteOSX are written to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FlyakiteOSX.

then again it says:Everything is completely uninstallable through the uninstaller.

Thats all I can tell you really, Just uninstalled it on my windows xp computer, just went back to normal, restarted it normal, installed flyakite back on, fine.

Thanks for the info! Sorry to put you through all that trouble! Thanks again, i might try it.

Attention: Everyone who get Macworld magazine please turn to page 17 of the April 2005 edition that just came out this week. Is that picture the guy is working with awesome? I think it's amazing.

Anyone know if it is available?

Could you scan the page of the magazine so we can see it? please

Unfortunately I do not have a scanner. It is a picture of a one tree on a plain with a huge sky and the sky comes in different colors. It looks amazing.

Would the Zinio have this?

---

Microsoft Windows XP is now Microsoft Mac OS XP :)p)

I am using the AMAZING FlyakiteOSX software along with Objectbar and ObjectDock (not visible) and it looks like a Mac for the most part - which is good because its getting me excited for when I get a powerbook!!!

EDIT: uploading pic later...

Where do you get all that cool stuff in the top right of your Apple Menu Bar?
I assume you're asking me? Looking at my iBooks screenshot (the first picture), the first green icon is SMARTReporter, which monitors the ststus of my hard drive, and alerts me if it starts to fail. The second one, the one that looks like headphones, is SoundSource, which lets me select my audio output and input from a convenient menu. The only different one on my Power Mac is the Adium menu. The other ones are the OS 9, AirPort and Sound menus for Mac OS X.

Not a high quality scan, but gives you the idea, hopefully. Click for larger. :)

Thanks for scanning, its a very nice pic. Exactly the kind I like to use for desktops because of its simplicity.
