i wish someone had a screen shot of the image in hitchhikers guide where marvin is sitting in the portal and you can see jupiter in the sky.. they panned back, i saw the movie last night i was like that would be an awesome desktop

It's a Japanese "J-Pop" artist named Utada Hikaru, the photo was taken in Yosemite Valley and the mountain is Half Dome. I didnt take it, though i wish i could take credit for such a great photo

What does the little padlock on the top right mean?

That is from Keychain Access in /Applications/Utilities. It is the option to Show Status in Menu Bar from the Preferences. I use it to lock my screen (And start my screen saver) when ever i leave my desk.
