My Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 works great on M1 MBP. Same as with previous Intel MBP.

No additional software. Just connects and works.
Just tried to connect one with my new Mac Mini M1, but no success so far (not found) :(
Works fine with my Intel Mac Mini (2018).

Update: read somewhere to try holding the power button longer to establish connection and that worked!

Another update: now with 11.5.1 the mouse is not smooth at all :(

Interestingly I bought a used MX Master2s off of ebay and thought something was wrong with it on my M1MBA. Tried it for DAYS now on my Asus laptop and it works perfectly. WTF?????

Bluetooth stack on M1 doesn't play well with Bluetooth implementation on Logi mice. That's all there is to say really.

Neither side bothered to fix it.

Every other mouse works fine, Logi are a terrible company.

Not every other mouse works fine, actually. I've got a fairly new Microsoft mobile BT mouse that has a microstutter every 10 seconds or so on my M1 MBA. But it is definitely something specific about the BT implementation on the M1 machines. Not sure if it's something fixable via software or not, but Apple's mouse works perfectly.

Good to know.

Apple need to look into this. My ****** Intel Mac works fine with the Logi too.

If the MS mouse is also micro-stutter every 9/10 secs, then this is an Apple issue.

I have a MBP M1, the lagging stops when my Logitech wireless usb mouse is connected to a KVM Switch but if I connect to a USB-C adapter it lags again which is strange because the KVM switch is connected to the same adapter that is connected to the USB-C port. Sounds similar to what someone posted about connecting their usb mouse to an adapter rather than directly to the port.

Update: The two bluetooth mouses I've tried since installing macOS 12.0.1 on my M1 MBA (a Logitech M720 and a Logitech Pebble) are much improved over Big Sur! Still not silly smooth like the Apple mouse & trackpad, but definitely far more usable. So much so that I'd not mind using them as daily drivers (running a G703 in wired mode currently when at my desk, which is still smoother than these two BT mice).

I have my M1 MacBook Air with the Logitech M720. It's good, but still doesn't feel as smooth and precise as it should. When trying to get precise with selection I find it pretty hard with the M720.

True...I think these issues are obviously separate from the M1 Bluetooth issues that are supposedly being fixed soon. You're probably right that it's an issue on the Logitech side and if it has to go through the Rosetta emulation that could be causing more delay/stutter/lag.
Apple has Bluetooth issues even with there own Magic Mouse at the m1 with macOS 12.0.1

I switched to Razer deathadder from MX3 due to the laggy experience. It preforms identically to my Windows PC.

Wow can't believe this problem still isn't resolved.

Have the same problem on my M1 Air and MacBook Pro M1 Max, both on Monterey connecting via the USB dongle. I'm pretty sure, like someone mentioned that it's an interference problem. Sometimes the issue is with Bluetooth, sometimes the stutter happens with the dongle. Absolutely no issues with my Desktop PC and my work laptop.

When I switch to my Razer Orochi mouse - it doesn't have the stuttering issue. Logitech really hates the M1 Mac for some reason!

Funny, I’m seeing the 9s lag resolved on my end.

I'm in a similar position with a M1 Mac-Mini. It looks like Logitech have not updated their drivers yet to be Universal, so they are running through the Rosetta 2 emulation layer and it's most likely what is introducing the lag. Correct solution is for Logitech to recompile their drivers (traditional slow to do releases!) or switch to a wired mouse in the short term.

In my case I had an old USB wired mouse and I've been using that with no problems, but I really miss the MX2 mouse and hope Logitech get this resolved quickly.
you seem to know a bit about them.in how long do you think its fair to expect an universal build ? like, the m1 been released since a year already ..

I was suffering from the same lag problem for the last few months on my M1, MBP. Worst of all, unlike others, I'm using just a wired Logitech USB mouse(G402). The lag has completely stopped for the past few days and it's completely butter smooth now. So here's what I did, I tried everything from installing Logitech softwares to what not. Then I decided to change the USB port, and I connected my USB hub to the second port in which I used to charge, and the lag vanished just like that. When I connected my HUB back to the previous port, the lag appeared again. So those of you who're still having the issue, try connecting your hub/mouse to the other USB port in your Mac!

Quoting myself. The solution worked just for few days and the lag is back. I'm using just a wired mouse and can't seem to find a fix for the mouse lag. Really frustrating!

Cheers!

First lag in 0:08 second in 0:18

I have MX3 Anywhere with M1 Air and Big Sur and use Logi Options and Logi Options+
Tried several steps like turn off hand off wifi, all usb hubs etc. Still have lag
Just use unyfying reciever without issue...
