Just an Incase Sleeve [in black] and a Wireless Mighty Mouse. Oh, and an 8GB red nano to go alongside. They should arrive tomorrow, and the MBP next week.
Received my accessories today. One thing of note though, is that you should de-stitch the 'Incase' tag *inside* the case. Customer reviews in the Apple Store say it can leave a couple of scratches. So the first thing I did was very carefully unstitch the tag, which was fiddly but the case looks like it was never there.
I'm getting the Wireless Mighty Mouse and the InCase Canvas Sleeve.
I was also thinking about possibly getting the iSkin ProTouch Keyboard Protector and the Marware Palmrest/Screen Protector. But I hear the Marware Palmrest leaves glue residue when removed, so could anyone recommend another brand that makes these?

Well I couldn't find the 'real' destitching tool in the sewing kit, so I used the tiny pair of scissors on my pocketknife, and carefully snipped at each 'loop' of thread all the way around, before carefully pulling the 'label' off and removing the excess thread still stuck inside the case. Didn't take that long though, just a careful five minutes.
The sleeve itself though is really nice; double-lined zipper so it doesn't scratch the MBP when it's inside, perforated leather around the bottom to keep it protected, and it's well padded -- it's not 'drop protection' but it's certainly 'dent protection' from anything that you might bump your bag against whilst it's inside.
As an addition, I was a little hesistant about the wireless mighty mouse; the selling factor for me was that, being Bluetooth, it didn't need a separate IR/RF receiver and therefore made it much better for use with the MBP. But the downside was that it was Bluetooth, which can be a little 'laggy'. I push the mouse sensitivity to full in anything I do [it's full in OS X & maxed out in games] because I like the precision it offers, so I was conscious about it being slow to respond. No such problems though, and Apple didn't skimp on cheap batteries like most companies do either: you get a couple of non-rechargable lithium Energizers, so they should last a while, even with my heavy usage.
When I get mine later this summer, I'll be getting a new Logitech v270 Bluetooth mouse (Silver, matches perfectly). I'm also probably going to get an extra power adapter and maybe an extra battery.
I already have a backpack with a 15'' laptop sleeve (although I usually use this for my iBook) and a Targus CityGear case. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great case with a ton of storage space.

I got the incase sleeve and i'm really disappointed in its fit on my new MBP. There's too much extra room! Does this not bother anyone? I'd like it to be tighter form fitting, especially since the 15 MBPs don't vary in size acording to specs or anything.
Before you buy a MM, check out the Logitech v270. Bluetooth and silver so it matches perfectly with the MBP. It's very accurate and there is no noticeable lag at all. The batteries last for a couple months when its on 18 hours a day. It just uses 2 AA batteries, but can even run perfectly on 1 if you need to. It also comes with a nice little case to protect it when you're not using it.
Plus its only $35 instead of the $60 (i think) of the MM.

it doesn't seem to have tilt wheel to allow horizontal scrolling tho. That's pretty big for people like me who use timeline based apps regularly. But I can't stand that dot on the mighty mouse, nor the click feel. I love logitech, its too bad.
does anyone know of a good bluetooth mouse with the tilt wheel?

I also bought an encase sleeve for my 15", and it's extremely loose! very annoying. I'll give it to my sister for her 15" hp and find myself something else as soon as possible. I also have the bluetooth MM, got it for a discount on black friday, and to be honest it still wasn't worth the price, especially if you game with it

Definitely have to echo the external keyboard thing. I just remember the time I was listening to the Eagles, not quite paying attention, and elbow-dumped Tequila Sunrise #2 all over my PC keyboard. Sticky Keys indeed.
Hi everyone, I need a few opinions from previous MBP users. I am considering purchasing a few of those palm rest, touchpad, and screen protectors, but I just wanted to know how dirty these MBPs really get. From what I've researched, it makes it sound like they are the dirtiest things on Earth. I'm pretty OCD about keeping my tech looking new. I have a four-year-old 5205-S703 Toshiba Satellite, and it still looks immaculate. So I'm just wondering if MBPs are just prone to getting dirtier than a normal laptop? I'd just like some advice before I go purchasing possibly unnecessary protection. Thanks.
