While I agree with most of what you said, if you already have an iPhone why do you need a camera on the iPad ? Wouldn't it be easer to use Facetime on your iPhone or desktop / laptop ? (Apple said they were opening up Facetime for use on other devices).

Shouldn't be asking a question to apple fanboys.... about why they need to have another apple device.

Every apple fanboy believes that they must have everything. They will come with any excuses they can find. Like their iphone 4 battery just died, so they cannot do a face time. They need to have iPad with a camera for back up. They don't care about macbook pro's camera. They want iPad camera.
Fanboys must have everything.

Only people who've never before heard the term used in business or competitions.

Playbook is not a commonly used term outside of North America. RIM don't appear to have considered that. In my office everyone is misunderstanding how a business machine could be called a PlayBook.

It's a classic case of parochial thinking.

One thing to bear in mind and maybe temper your responses to the Plabook... thus far we haven't actually seen the device.

No, seriously, as far as I can see all RIM have shown up to this point are mockups and video demos. The device they brought on stage was never actually shown to be a working unit and the 'demo' unit shown to the press was behind glass and just showing a looped video so, again, nothing to suggest it was even a working prototype.

Does that mean RIM have a Courier on their hands? No, not at all, there's nothing here that's beyond their ability to deliver. However we're not in a position to assess speed, functionality etc until someone gets their hands on a real, working prototype. Until then I'd strongly suggest treating this as a teaser only and waiting until we've got some actual real world experiences to go off before starting comparisons to shipping products like the iPad and Galaxy Tab.
