coming from a guy who a.) said he wouldn't try 3.0 beta. b.) said there would only be 1 beta.
I said there was only going to be one beta because I was joking in a ridiculous thread.
Also, just because Apple likes Tuesdays, doesn't mean they release everything on Tuesday. I'm gonna go ahead and say there will be NO NEW BETA today and then everyone's going to be disappointed by the end of the day when they don't see one. Then you'll see that I was right. If I'm wrong... then... sweet, a new beta!
Also, to the people who say "You said you weren't going to upgrade to 3.0!"... I have 2 iPhones and an iPod touch. My every-day iPhone is running 2.2.1 so that I can stay sane. My development iPhone and iPod touch run 3.0 so I can l find bugs and submit them to Apple.
Honestly? Who the ^\*% cares? Ok its fun to post about these things but to fight over it? Were Apple Beta Testers! Just be happy we hav access to the Current beta of 3.0.
I hope you are wrong, yesterday I spent 3 hours downgrading to 2.2.1 and my MacBook crashed while I was restoring to my 2.2.1 backup. I finally managed to get the phone working at 1am, so, Beta3 better not come out for a long time as far as I am concerned

just curious, what were the major problems that caused you to go back to 2.2.1?? even with the beta, i still think its overall better than it was with 2.2.1
It was not Beta2 that made me want to downgrade, but the fact that I had played around with so many .ipcc files that I no longer had access to my Visual Voicemail.
So I wanted to downgrade and restore to my 2.2.1 backup to get back to where I was before 3.0 Beta2.
(Everytime I restored to my 2.2.1 backup however the phone was back in restore mode for some reason, but that is a topic for another thread).
C'mon....Beta 3! I mean seriously please come out xD
My predictions on beta 3:
1.Video recording enabled for 3G?
2.MMS might actually have the proxy carrier settings
3.Landscape appstore?
Don't forget time travel and the ability to cook frozen pizzas.
I hope it comes out today but I doubt it. If it does I think it will be more of a stability change than any major new features. As they get closer to launch the lag and bugs diminish greatly. I just hope we don't go through what we did in 2.0 when there was one beta in the chain that was a major step back in usability(although very short lived).

If you're using the beta, you should know what you're doing.
People who just want the MMS should not be using the beta at this time. (IMO)
