No- I do NOT do Hotspots. I have WiFi at home... and EDGE out on the street. I have it working. The 5.99 TMobile thing.

I THINK that adds Hotspots. I dunno. I know that WILL work with no problem on iPhones.... getting tZones to work takes a bit of hacking. But it does work, too... and is 15 bucks cheaper.
I just need to know.. for EDGE only, is there any benefit to paying for the 19.99 Total Internet over the 5.99 Total Internet?

To the best of my knowledge, no. PLEASE consult with your TMobile rep to confirm. I am just a voice on the Internet!
Wow. I suppose I was thrown off by the description of "unlimited access to mobile Web destinations and great capabilitieslike reading, editing, and sending e-mail directly from your phone." I hate to really, really beat this horse to a pulp, but... it works for full internet and not just those crappy mobile pages, right?
No prob. I found it hard to believe, too! I have tested Safari on my personal sites, cnn, tmobile.com, others- no problems.
I cannot say that tmob MAY close this hole when they figure it out!
You do have to edit one file, and create a second, but it took me 5 minutes...scared the hell out of me to do, but easy!
so you get "real internet" just for paying $5.99 for T-mobile web??
But are you sure they wont charge you some extra $$ on your bill?
What if I have unlocked Iphone and use youtube lets say, without any extra "internet" plan?
Are they gone charge me for the data usage??
Did anybody already got the bill from T-mobile after using it with Iphone??

19.99 - all ports open (irc, ssh, sftp and thirdy paty clients on your phone that uses different ports) and you can also tether your laptop
5.99 - only mail and web ports open (which doesnt matter for the iphone cause all you can do on an iphone is web and email, unless you add a native third party app that uses a diff port than 80,25,etc.... such as an aim client for iphone )

Is it really possible to use the iPhone as a modem? Didn't think this was possible.
