These phones were handled by thousands of people so who knows how they got scratched. All I know is that silver got scratched just by looking at it.
At first I was horrified by the Midnight Green, now I'm intrigued. Go figure!

Now that I would’ve ordered in a heartbeat. Right now I can’t decide between the space gray and the midnight green until I see both in person. So... I’ve ordered both for in-store pickup. Kind of annoying but oh well.
As a straight male, I will be getting the purple iPhone 11 non pro, with an all black case.

Midnight Blue didn’t sell well when Apple tried it with the iPhone 9. They would like to forget it ever happened.

Boy, do I have some bad news for you. Because next year is a leap year the next time Sept. 19 falls on a Friday is 2025. That is one hell of a backorder!

I agree. The colors they offer that are the most different from previous years tend to be quite popular. The first gold phone (5s) they made was in extremely high demand.
Some people are cancelling their iPhone 11 orders in HK.
I am not sure if you all know that HK users usually buy the iPhone to resell at a higher price. In the roast there used to be profits of about US$250 to US$500 on Day 1.
Ever since iPhone X the resell prices have been dropping for day 1 sales. This year will be the first time where resale values will be less than the Apple's original price. Lol
However Midnight Green could still be sold at cost price or at US $30 or US $50 profit.
So there is a big demand for the green model.

It kind of grows on you. At first the color looked horrific to me. Now I love it!
That was a big phenomenon that occurred between 2014-2017 when Apple released its larger screen Plus iPhones. They sold out so quickly that many did sell on eBay hundreds of dollars over the list price on release day and later. In those years your iPhone choice at release could be backordered for up to 7 weeks. An eBay Seller could make a profit selling the "hot" color and size that wasn't readily available. There are many people who are filthy rich and don't have to budget their money.
I'm fully aware of what used to happen, I've been buying iPhone's since the 3G.
