The ad shows the price is valid Friday to Sunday.

From what I have learned about Microcenter, they keep the sale prices even beyond that. Was told the MacBook air(2018 model) that is on sale(200 bucks off) at microcenter would last a week, its been 2 weeks still the same sale is going on

just got the 11” 64gb wifi for the wife for $699

also got their accidental protection warranty for $99, much better deal than applecare+ because they don’t charge a fee for a replacement and if it breaks they effectively give you the value of the ipad in store credit

. Just walked in the store, started looking at the iPads and 11 seconds later a salesman was in my face. He asked me, have any questions. I said no, and as he walked away I said hey, I do have a question. I asked if they price match, he said how much, I said $150, he said yes, show me the add. So I quickly pulled up the Microcenter add, which even showed stock at my Microcenter in NE Ohio. Boom!!
Then he tells me they don’t have the keyboard folio and I shrug my shoulders and said, I’ll find it. He said, it’s sold out everywhere, nobody has it. I left, drove 3 miles, walked in Verizon and bought one.

No idea how that happened. Even personal friends of mine who work at Best Buy said “they would get their heads cut off” if they did any pricematches today.

Forgot to mention, I also said “you will price match anything, without question”. Remember the force is a powerful influence on the weak minded.

I called first thing Friday morning and got a firm no. That’s why I took a 100 mile drive to the nearest microcenter and picked one up. Made a shopping trip out of the day.

I picked up the 12.9” 256GB iPad Pro Black Friday. The line inside the store was enormous and wrapped around the perimeter inside the store. A paper with the bar code of the iPad was handed to the interested customer in the Apple section of Micro Center. You then had to wait around 45 minutes in the long line until a store clerk took your bar code and matched it to the chosen product from the locked cage with another store manager standing guard.

I saved an unheard of $150 on a newly launched Apple product.

Mine wasn't bad at all. I called in the morning before making the two hour journey to make sure the model I wanted was available, where I was only told "more than 10", I can't say specifically". Got to the store mid afternoon, went right to the Apple section, and asked for the specific model. The rep started pitching and spewing nonsense at me, and was very arrogant. I inquisitively asked if the pencil was in stock, really just wondering it if it had any special discount as well. After several minutes the rep handed me a paper printout to buy the pencil. At that point it dawned on me it was a commission based store.

I only waited up in the line about 5 minutes to check out, and had requested the rep at the front registers to remove the commission. They obliged without issue. There is zero reason for someone to get a commission when a customer walks in asking for a specific product. Funny enough too, the paper printout I was handed stated exactly how many iPads were in stock at that time and how many were sold throughout the day. So much for secrecy.

I also called the store when I was halfway there. The call transferred to a national operator instead of the local store. The national operator looked up the stock to my local store and misinformed me that they were all sold out and only had open-box iPads available. Since I was almost at the store, I decided to go in anyway — that paid off. The local store had plenty of iPads in stock.

Same here when I bought an 11" 256GB Space Gray model on Friday night around 9pm. The form they gave me indicated that they started the day with 56 of them in stock and had 25 remaining in inventory at the time I picked mine up.

I've never seen anything quite like that before on a receipt/invoice when buying an item at a retail electronics store, but I had an excellent experience at Micro Center and was in and out of there in only about 10 minutes.

Did anyone get a gift receipt?
I bought one and later saw on website that they have a holiday return policy. I just called and was told the standard 15 days apply unless you asked for a gift receipt during check out.

That sounds like utter BS.

Does anyone know til when this sale goes to? Chatted with Microcenter earlier today one person said it goes til next Sunday while another person said it ends tomorrow night

So how we feeling a couple days later, people who got in on the deal

New iPad Pro worth it for ya at $100/$150 off?
[doublepost=1543202694][/doublepost]
wonder why theres not a bigger discount on the 512gb?

They probably know people with those storage needs will not be as price sensitive, and can pony up for it
