I will install Edge, when it will be 'without' this stupid Microsoft Auto Update Feature... Hope it will come in near future?!

You should expect that it will always include Autoupdate.

But you don't need this stupid MAU (Microsoft Auto Update) Software... Why not doing it like any other browser (direct within browser).
Don't want another service running in background!

Google Chrome uses a separate background update service, not unlike what Microsoft is doing.

I use Edge on my computers in my classroom along with Safari because there are a few district services only accessible via Edge. Plus I use OneNote Class Notebooks in my classes. I find it to be a pretty decent browser on both Intel and AS Macs. I’m not super deep into the Microsoft ecosystem, but everything has been working well.

This is how Safari gets updates

Not unlike what Apple is doing with Safari too.

But this process is built in macOS. No additional process running in the background.

Why not doing it like brave browser or Firefox.

Good browser but its update mechanism is annoying.

I just installed Edge, works well, fast and very low on resource usage, the Auto Update installed, but it doesn't bother me

This is a stupid complaint. All browsers and software run an update service. How do you think they check for updates?

I’ve had to go back to chrome for my work gear. I’ve spent far too long trying to get the sync service running properly, random bookmarks and passwords not syncing across devices. After reading about past problems and current regarding sync issues being unreliable compared to Google, I can’t really trust it’s working or going to work so moved back to Chrome, other than that I love Edge ?
