MP 7,1 MKBHD switching to Mac Studio from Mac Pro, but why…

Yes. Butretty sure the price of a new Mac Pro means diddly to MKB….also, most of his reviews don’t concern Apple hardware.

Simply creating the video where he says he’s effectively swapping it for a discounted Studio is probably clickbaity enough to make that sweet monetisation. That’s why I’ve asked if he actually makes anything, outside of YouTube reviews. Is he a tv or cinema video person, or is YouTube literally it.

Because being on the inside track to get a pre-embargo next gen Mac Pro will be worth a significant amount of money to him if he can go live with a Studio vs Pro review immediately following announcement.

It's interesting how most of people here hate on YouTubers and their knowledge yet they themselves are clueless and ask questions like "My computer is hot, is it bad?????" "Should i buy now or wait?????" or my favourite "macOS says I use a lot of ram, do i need 2TB of RAM model???? (idk how unix systems deal with memory, it doesn't matter does it??)".

Generally not the folks that frequent this Mac Pro forum. I do not begrudge the YouTubers that service the novice market, but some put themselves out there as pro level, and as such, criticizing them in this forum, IMO, is fair game.

He had (loaned to him) a 28 core 7,1 2019 MacPro before they were released. Showed it to us after the embargo.

So does anyone think he’s not going to compare the 8,1 against the Mac Studio?
Of course he will -on day one.
