Works great for me so far.
I just installed this and it's working straight off the bat. Strangely I didn't even need to input any carrier/APN settings, they were already in there (perhaps these were left over from SwirlyMMS which I had installed before going to 3.0...?).
As a settings-related side note, I'm on Vodafone NZ, who have recently modified their settings so that absolutely any APN, wrong or otherwise, will allow data usage. I've read that this is quite possibly one of the only places in the world to do this - not good but I won't go into this here.
In regard to the crapola scaling of images received, all I've done to test this is to send myself a picture. It appears to have identical quality to the picture I sent out, not horribly low res like many reporting.
