in NYC - and still getting the red exclamation point.

On 3.1, 3GS, and just got the new carrier file from iTunes.

Anyone else having these issues?
 
I'm in Washington, DC and it's also not working yet for me either. Red exclamation points all the way even after a reboot!

MMS works on all of the listed zip codes for me!!

I still have a long pause before the MMS actually sends. Is this something that will be fixed? Or something that will always happen? I remember some of my old phones (non-iPhones) doing the same thing.

Installed the carrier file, restarted my 3gs and MMS is working just fine under 3.0
 
In Maryland still not working. Perhaps I did something wrong.

I get the same thing with my big, bad, unbroken 3GS. My wife and son's 3G's, however, both work fine. Typical.
 
For anyone that is getting the exclamation point and failure to send message. Call ATT have them remove your texting plan and re-add it. Worked perfectly for me after.
 
still not working for me either in dayton ohio. stock 3G, updated, rebooted, nothing but red !'s. awesome.
 
Nothing here... same red "!" and messages sent from others never get to me. Called AT&T, they starting IMing with tech support who looked at my account. Then the rep removed something then reapplied, rebooted my phone and still nothing. The tech got back to the rep and said I would have to wait 24 hours. I still feel something is wrong with my account.... oh well.
 
MMS still doesnt work here in Salt lake City, UT. Iphone 3G 3.1, updated carrier to 5.5 and rebooted (even restored my phone to original still doesnt work)


and I am not surprised at all...
 
Called ATT

I called AT&T and spent 1/2 hour on the phone and the 2nd tier support changed a setting and got mine working.
 
working ok here in CT.. the first one took a LOOOONNG time to go through, but the second one, sent to a non ATT customer went through fine - quick too

I was having this same issue... you have to call. The computer program that took the Opt-Out code off all the iPhone accounts for some reason skipped yours. I signed on to live chat and had it fixed in a couple of minutes
