MMS on the Iphone, any update?

Well, if we had the feature or at least a date, i doubt there would be NEARLY as much mention as there is.
Just a guess
when there is news and I mean real news something official that is. it will be front page of MacRumors the same day there will be 50 threads saying I have news about MMS - look at me I have MMS- I just emailed my Girlfriend my Pic etc etc etc...
till then nobody has the inside scoop on MMS. till then ask as much as you want and people can pretend. AT&T reps can trick people cause they are sick of 100's of annoyed people asking when am I getting MMS, and people will still say ATT sucks blah blah blah. at the end of the day when we get MMS we get it! till then this is just another MMS thread that will most likely end up in the wasteland.

Asking questions is fine, heck I do all the time. But the best way to ask is "Hey, I have been searching for Topic X and found this/nothing/whoknows so far. Can anyone offer some further help?" Generally people tend to assist those who put forth the effort to help themselves but get stuck.

Yeah, and even if it is obvious where to find something, if they at least say they tried, we're pretty helpful (at least to newbies). We'll say you should've searched, but we don't leave them hanging and provide the link to what they want. What we want is for them to get out of the habit of coming to MR for answers and be able to help themselves and others.
Edit: The other day I gave a guy a link. The next question was how to do I do this, which was in the link. He essentially wanted me to do the clicking for him almost. I left that thread.
Edit 2: Oh, I remember, it was samcraig wanting a recipe for turkey pot pie.

But one must also be aware, after searching for common threads like all persons should before posting, that if they do post a question that there will be trolls crawling hunched over to slam the question about how much they hate seeing the same question over and over again.
Yet these same trolls are the ones purposely reading the same questions over and over again. Thus causing their own misfortune.
My take...if you don't want to see the same thread over and over again, stop reading them.
But alas, trolls read threads over and over again for the mere point of whining about them in that exact thread. Thus...trolls.

Just because I decide to read a thread (which IS my decision as you say) and post a response doesn't make me or others a troll.
Your logic fails at a fundamental level if only for this reason. If I choose to jump in the water - I can bitch all I want. Whether YOU care is entirely different. And that's YOUR decision. Right?

I did a search for MMS text upate on this forum and all I found were a bunch of threads where people complained about there being too many threads about MMS.

No one called the OP an idiot. Let's not slip into hyperbole.
And any reasonable person could summize even with all those negative posts that CLEARLY there is no new NEWS.
Notwithstanding that most of us actually did answer the OP's question. I think it was one of the more productive MMS threads we've had in awhile (and if bunnies were produced, all the better). Oh, and if you really want to search for MMS, you need to add AT&T to the search. That's probably better. Also, it's best to look at the threads with a bunch of posts.
I know, I actually wandered over to this tread today looking for any such news. By wading through the 2 pages of posts, some helpful some not so much I realized that there is no news yet.
Also, we are now in the middle of August, I don't know about you guys but late summer to me is pretty much the end of August. I'm really starting to doubt we will have MMS in the states any time soon.
Wait, so you are saying I should be searching for an AT&T issue with the word AT&T in it? What's next, you'll tell us to search the Internet for forums more related to AT&T/Wireless since they control MMS and not Apple? FOR SHAME!
+1 on searching. You'll find about 124,748 mms threads. It's. Funny how people that admit their newbies also think there right about everything. Reminds me of our president
