I added dates to my calendar about 2 hours ago. Mobile me has synced every 15 minutes and even did a manually sync. New dates not showing up at me.com or on iPhone.

Is this me or Mobile Me? (haha)

It's mobileme. I have the same problem and literally just got back from the genius bar and the genius couldnt get the two to sync after 30 minutes of screwing around. He said theyre just trying to work out bugs, but it's not fully functional. No sh*t.

I usually don't complain about Apple's practices. But it would be nice if they would give us a heads up (and admit) that problems exist so we don't think it is a problem on our end.

Even after reseting sync data my mobile me calendar will not change.

Yup...It's broke

Same here. I added an appointment to iCal three hours ago, and despite numerous syncs (both manual and automatic), it has not appeared in MobileMe.

Another triumph for the big brains at Macrosoft.

i'm in the same boat. this is ridiculous. it shouldn't have released this soon if it wasn't ready. i've waited almost all day and no matter what, the appt. doesn't show up in my phone or on me.com.

I've got to say I'm VERY glad I haven't purchased this yet. And, as far as my trial, it's not looking to good for Apple so far. They've got about 57 days to change my mind.

I was actually about to start a thread, but I'm glad people are having the same problems as me...

Syncing between mobile and iphone both ways works fine.

I'm running leopard(ppc)...I add an event in iCal, it never gets sync'd, either manually or letting it sit for an hour. I have my iSync prefs set to alert on any change, and nothing happens. I delete the event in ical.

I create an event in mobileme, it does indeed sync fine with iCal coming back to the mac (i get an alert from isync), however if I change the time, color, name, etc in iCal, the changes are not reflected in mobileme (and iphone).

Very frustrating and I know Apple is doing their best to get the kinks knocked out, but it would be nice to have a little press release saying they are having problems and it'll be up and running in X days...they are wasting their own time by having people come in to the genius bar who in turn put the blame back on Apple since they can't figure it out...just suck it up- take the PR hit, and fix it. We promise to buy more iphones!

Tested with contacts as well...new contacts and changes can be synced down to Mac Address Book, however new additions or changes in mac don't make it back to the cloud. ugh..

Same problem. None of the changes I make on the Mac gets synced to the cloud/iPhone.

Even when I reset my sync data, and set the Mac as the master, it still doesn't get synced.

I even read in one of the MM support documents to try a new user account. I did that and everything started working. Yea!!!.... then down again. I was able to get contacts to sync up from my macbook once, then not. Calendar never from my macbook. Back to waiting for Apple to fix it.

Does anyone's push email work as described? I sent an email to my .me account, I see it pop up on the web browser, and after a couple minutes it still hasn't shown up on my iphone. If i open the mail app it shows up, but the badge isn't as fast as it should be.

Deleting from the iphone doesn't delete emails from the cloud either...I go into the mobileme site and the email is still there...It even resync'd back to my iphone after I deleted it!

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

Tonight I also have had problems with changes from iCal/Address Book not updating from Mac to MM (even after performing manual sync and reset). This had previously been working for me. I still do have push for: MM to mac, MM to iPhone, and iPhone to MM. Push email is also still working to iPhone.

Changes to ical not updating from my mac>to the cloud>to iPhone 3G! GRRRR.....at least I know it's not something wiggy in my preferences, as you are all having the same issue! :( I think it is still an issue with MobileMe as a service nothing at the customer level. Apple really needs to bite the bullet and explain what is causing all of this shenanigans or I will lose some faith and credibility in them!

seems like everyone's having the same problem of mac>cloud not working. Hopefully this means they're fixing something rather than it simply not working.

Maybe they're adding push from Mac to the cloud, instead of this fifteen minute crap that people have uncovered in the past couple of days? Dubious, but possible.

Just got back from APPLE STORE and GENIUS knew nothing about it until I showed them on the APPLE SUPPORT FORUM that people were talking about it. Now even the Mobile Me Support Forums are having issues...probably way overloaded with people clicking in or trying to anyway.

Just wanted to add myself to the list of people having this same problem.

Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Such poor Customer Service on APPLE's part to not just send us an update. And to think they leave the GREEN lights on that ALL SERVICES are working...so not true.

Big round of applause for ^. Every other thread on here since Friday has been "My phone/mac/pc/mobileme wont sync" Nice to see someone actually adding to a thread rather than starting a new one saying the same thing!

Yep same problem here. Thought I was going mad. Tried everything; reseting sync data even a full restore on my iPhone. Eventually things started working again but I probably just got lucky.... No wait.... scratch that, it's not working again :(

I think the most annoying thing about all this is the almost complete silence on the part of apple, that and the constant green light on the MobileMe support page telling me that everything is working fine.

Ya I hear you, it is frustrating. I hope this isn't preview of future service/products from Apple.

Partially working now

Hey all,

Well, I was relieved to see this thread and know I wasn't alone in my frustration. I did get mine working somewhat, so perhaps this will help.

In my case, iTunes had reverted to not synching any of the items on the Info tab. I re-enabled this and did a sync, which got the Mac and iPhone in sync fine, as you'd expect.

I had already reset the sync data through the MobileMe preference pane, overwriting MobileMe data with the information from my Mac. This had no effect on the online calendar though. After I'd synched the iPhone overwriting its contacts and calendar info from the Mac, the information online was updated.

I tested it by adding an event in iCal, it showed up on the iPhone a few seconds later. I've tried it a few times now and it seems to work fine, showing up just as the auto sync gets going.

The online MobileMe calendar doesn't seem to be picking up the changes and changes I make on the site don't show up on my phone, so I'm not sure what's up there.

Anyway, I'm happy enough for now, I hope this helps some of you.

Good luck!

...of course

As soon as I'd posted, I saw that the change I made on the online MobileMe calendar did show up in iCal and on my iPhone - so, about a 15 minute lag.

I hope this helps.

OK, woke up this morning, and there is still NO sync whatsoever from the Mac to MM. WTH is going on? Push thankfully is still working otherwise:

MM --> iPhone: push is working
iPhone --> MM: push is working
MM --> Mac: push is working (auto sync kicks off)
Mac -- MM --> NO push, NO sync, NO reset

iCal to MM has stopped working for me too (it was OK last night and prior to that).
