I got the invite last night. This morning I logged into me.com and upgraded. It went through perfectly. (They must have fixed the upgrade process).

EDIT: Sync from iCal to MobileMe/iPhone works. Sync from iPhone to MobileMe works but to iCal fails.

Same here... And I signed up within an hour of the beta being announced... What gives?

Same here. Having said that, I was granted access to the Mail beta quite early compared to a lot of the posts on here at the time so I guess it's just my turn to wait? Maybe Apple are experiencing more requests for the Calendar beta than they expected...

My son got his invite this morning so they are still add new people. He signed up within 12 hours of me and I have had it for at least a week (not sure).

I signed up on both my account and my wife's account at the same time last week. I got my invite tonight, but nothing for her yet. The whole reason I want it is so we can share a single calendar and view it and update it from our iPhones.

Got my invite this morning. The upgrade process failed the first time, but worked smoothly the second time - even warning me that one of my Macs was using OSX Tiger and wouldn't be able to calendar sync if I went through with the upgrade (I joined the beta anyway, hopefully upgrading to Snow Leopard next month).

I do appear to have lost my 'Birthdays' calendar however; tried turning it on and off in preferences but to no avail. Is this because it is synced with iCal on the Mac rather than working from your MobileMe contacts?

On The Nickel, over there....
My feedback requests to Apple concerning MM Calendar (so far):
1. Add Birthdays to the MM Calendar.
2. For the Today date, darken the entire square (in the monthly view) as it's done in the iCal app.
Other than the above, I like it.

1. Already there. See Preferences / General / Show Birthdays Calendar
2. Agree. As is, is not that bad (heading highlighted).

They has this in the FAQ but I really need Subscriptions and Alerts (Reminders). Also, I need a desktop application (windows) that check for Alerts. Similar to the way Outlook Works. I prefer not to have to continue to use Outlook to get Reminders while on the desktop.

1. The Birthday calendars seems to take an extra minute or two to load compared with my standard, non-subscription calendars. It'll load the calendars, I'll switch to another tab, switch back a minute or two later and then birthdays will have magically appeared. On my work PC using Google Chrome - haven't tried on my Mac in Safari (I notice Chrome isn't officially supported...)

2. Agree, it's not great at the moment - fine, but not great. I'm also not so sure about all-day appointments not being a fully-solid bar in month view - doesn't seem right.

My Birthday Calendar has always loaded very fast. I have < 200 Contacts. Do you have a lot of Contacts? Also, not sure this was there before but there is an option to keep a copy of you Calendars on your Desktop for faster performance. I am not using it at this time. Under Preferences / Advanced while in Calendar Display.

I spoke to soon. I just went into the Calendar and the Birthdays did not load. I went out and came back in and it was there. Maybe I just did not notice before.

Just upgraded and my calendars are now all completely blank (web, iCal and iPhone). Tried restoring backup sync data from iCal to web and it does nothing...web and iPhone calendars still blank.

Downgraded and my old data is back safe and sound.

Tried upgrading again, and everything is gone, again.

What gives?

I'm running all the required software updates...(iOS 4.0.1, OS X 10.6.4)

Just upgraded to calendar beta. So far, so good but just have a few suggestions.

1) Ability to manage alerts to sync to all mobile devices
2) Ability to change font size on calendar view, so that entries are not cut off (or cut off so much)

I'm still waiting too. I thought something was wrong, but it's reassuring to see that other people haven't gotten their beta upgrade too...

I got mine last night. Upgrade was fine. I can see birthdays, but how do you view subscribed calendars? I have the US holiday schedule and I would love to see it.
