I got mine last night. Upgrade was fine. I can see birthdays, but how do you view subscribed calendars? I have the US holiday schedule and I would love to see it.
Currently you can't subscribe to internet calendars from MobileMe Web. This is discussed in the FAQ for the Beta. Hopefully they will add soon.

Verifying Two Beta Items

So, I just signed up for the beta, and I wanted to verify two beta items that I see which is throwing me for a slight loop.

1. I had to follow the "CalDAV" instructions to get my iPad working with the beta. But what the instructions did not tell you was that if you were using MobileMe to sync MobileMe Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, etc., you had to actually go into that master MobileMe account in the iPad settings and turn off the calendar syncing there. If you don't do that, you will get duplicate entries in the calendar. Did anyone else have to do this?

2. In iCal, I am seeing my MobileMe account name at the top left of iCal. I don't believe that was there before. I think it used to say "Calendars". Are other people seeing that as well?

Well, I think I answered my own second question. And that is a normal thing to see, so that is good.

But, the first question is still puzzling me.

Based on the following the answer is Yes. The MobileMe Calendar, the one where you defined the MobileMe Account is still there after you started the Beta. However, they should not be Syncing any longer. Then when you added the CalDAV you would then duplicate the Calendar because now they are both on your phone as 2 separate Calendars. So, therefore you have to turn off the MobileMe Calendar which gives you a prompt to delete all of there Calendar Entries for that Calendar.

This has I believe made To Dos and Notes even more confusing. I think I have it figured out, but noobs are gonna be lost.

After switch to beta here is what I see.

As others mentioned, in iCal it now says myname@me.com above the calendar at top left.

In Mail for Notes I have On My Mac and MobileMe. In Mail for To Do I have On My Mac, MobileMe and a new since the beta entry called myname@me.com. All my To Dos from the MobileMe section were moved to the new myname@me.com section.

The To Dos in myname@me.com DO NOT get synced using MobileMe. They apparently get synced to CalDav along with the calendar events info. I can tell because on a second machine To Do changes do not appear after a MobileMe sync, they will only appear after I open iCal and it syncs with the CalDav server.

is there any way to get your google cals to show up in mobileme? I have them all showing up in my ical and would like to do this in mobileme
In the future I expect they will have the ability to Subscribe within MobileMe Web but not yet. What I do until then is I Sync Google with Outlook and then I Sync Outlook with MobileMe. Since you already have them in iCal (on the Mac I assume) can't you do the same thing?

Received my Beta last night. The UI is perfect. Finally my iPhone 3G (4.0.1) Calendar Push works again. The only thing bad I lost the ability to Sync to my old 1G Touch with 3.1.3, Sync does not work now

Did you follow the instructions for the iPad where you add the calendar under Other as CalDAV. I would think it would work on that device as well.

Thank You for the advice. Configured this way and works OK on 3.1.3, just on Fetch. Better than nothing.
