For me it was "weird" I was able to turn on TRIM (trim enabler) and Handsoff without any additional workarounds.

Just tried it on a clean install of El Capitan /upgraded to DP 2. Worked without a hitch.Yeah this is normal, you still had the rootless=0 boot-args set in the NVRAM, they should stay set until Apple decides they no longer allow it.
Here's my new updated tool with a few new features and bug fixes.
Please make a backup of all your files and keep in mind that this tool is in a beta stage, on a beta OS. This also still doesn't work with dognles (see the readme on github).
Please post or PM me any working models.
works fine for me after running it again after the update.Just in: Tool is no longer working! 10.11 DP3 tested on my mac
Did you download the correct CAT file? Uninstall the one you have now, and try using the one found on this link. Once you run the program again and reboot, check the status under general preferences. At the bottom, you should see the handoff option box checked.Ok, I've followed these steps:
1. Disable SIP
2. CAT 2.1
After rebooting, the bluetooth seems to be running properly but the wifi says "there is no hardware installed"

Are you using CAT with a dongle or a BT card?I have a problem install this in may mini mid 2011 and magic mouse have a lag....
In yosemite work fine....
Any idea???
Are you using a dongle or a bluetooth card? If the former, that is probably why you are noticing a lag, as performance with a dongle is not very good when used with multiple BTLE devices. If the latter, I don't have a possible answer.I have a problem install this in may mini mid 2011 and magic mouse have a lag....

I did and it works.@Actors
that sounds weird. The tool itself doesn't run any code in the background after the patching is done, except if you enabled the continutiy check. But that also only runs a small chunk of code after login. So I guess that it's a OS X beta related problem.
@amg949 here
Has anybody tested it with the public beta already?
https://github.com/sysfloat/Continuity-Activation-Tool/tree/betaWhere can I find the CAT 2.1 tool ?
does it still say 2.00 when I run it ?
I have '10 as well with same card. Try what BasicGreatGuy said.
I had same issue in first time. Reinstalled original kext. restarted. redisabled Rootless. restated. used the CAT. restated. And now my continuity and hand off work (along with wifi)
Are you saying that you no longer have use of wifi on your Mac, after installing CAT? You shouldn't need to turn SIP off, when going through the CAT process.Ok, I've followed the same steps as you and I still getting the "no hardware installed" error in my wifi.
This is what I get after all the process.

Try the following...Yes, i cant use the wifi unless I remove CAT.
Should I try with the SIP enabled?
