I can't believe people actually accept it.
Some people might not even notice the issues with non-integer scaling. Or they might not care. Some are seemingly happy to accept things the way they are, maybe because they don’t know how much better things could be or because they have more important things to worry about. :)

I'm actually considering getting a 32 inch 4K display and running it at full non-scaled resolution,
Say hello to horrible-looking text in non-HiDPI modes on macOS.

Windows sucking at high density
I also run Windows 10 (latest version) on a 220 ppi monitor at 200% scaling and it looks just great. So do all the apps I use. YMMV as usual. :)

It was the 163 PPI that was putting me off on the LG one you mentioned above... Am I overthinking the PPI issue?!

It was this article that got me obsessed with PPI: https://bjango.com/articles/macexternaldisplays/

Gotta say after looking at the reviews for the LG 5K2K, I'm starting to think twice now.
why did you post this link? No I'm obsessed, too! ?

Seriously finding a good monitor is very difficult, more I read more confused I am

My desk space is limited so I must choose a 27" (max 28") but my eyes are old so I can't stay 8-10 hour in front of 4K monitor
I like the huawei mateview 28" but I scared using it at native resolution

I also have a MateView and use it scaled at "Looks like 2560×1707" to get the same PPI as my 27" 5K monitor running at pixel-perfect 2560×1440 HiDPI. While I can see a slight blurriness compared to the 5K monitor (they are right next to each other), it's still awesome and the additional vertical screen estate (plus 18.5 percent) over 2560×1440 is very noticeable and very welcome. I mainly use it for coding and word processing too. I'd definitely recommend it. I'm actually considering picking up a second right now.

Can you take a photo to show us how much text blur at same distance for two monitors like 10/15 cm?

Because I want to get Huawei Mateview 28.2 inch but I have some questions, If you do, I will be so happy :)

I've tried both, the Mateview is so good, I'm so in love with it, I just love the 4:3
