The link bands were supposed to have no problems and ready to go, so it sucks that they cannot get it together and get them to UPS. It may be a blessing though, in the pictures that I have seen the adapters look pretty nicked up, I may just cancel if I can find a better one this weekend.
 
I ordered a 38mm black and red leather to go with my SS (currently have milanese loop). I ordered through Amazon last week and it delivered yesterday to my US address. I live in Sweden so it'll be in my hot little hands on Monday along with an extra charger and by BSB. Will take pics on Monday.

It locks tightly. I had a little trouble sliding the mechanism in at first but that part is better than expected. The metal is more of a brushed stainless and isn't as shiny as the watch itself. Very sturdy and solid. I'm not sure what angled view you're looking for.

Honestly, if it wasn't so stiff, I'd really like this band.

Is it too stiff you can't bend it and make it loose by rubbing on it with your hands to mold it for your wrist if that makes sense?

So they're still selling through Amazon, yet I can't get mine that I ordered 6 weeks ago...frustrating...

Somehow I mixed up the reply below yours with the date, sorry about that. They have some bands on Amazon, but not the mythical unicorn known as the black link band...
 
Anyone heard anything from Monowear about the link band? I ordered 4/30, 3 missed shipping dates and still no band...
 
Has anyone ordered the leather? I want the navy blue and the creme but I wonder how it feels.

I can't answer that for you? To me, 80 bucks is really cheap so I didn't really think about it like that. I have the 38MM SS with milanese loop and two sport bands. I want a modern buckle but those are still unavailable so just ordered the monowears to have until I can get the modern buckle.

Not sure what you want to see, but this is the black one. The red is at work. It is not a vibrant red, more like an oxblood red. I can take a picture of it tomorrow.

That nail bracelet is DOPE btw! I love it; and an awesome accessory to the watch.
