Most underrated thing is how quickly it can drop a call.
Personal experience. Not sure if anyone else noticed...?

I'm gonna use the default "retina display" answer. Made the mistake of looking at a friend's iPhone 4 (still have the 3G), and now i barely even look at my pos screen
Yeah, the guy just above you has a point, hard to say that the most highly touted feature of the phone is under rated.
I agree the display is awesome, but most do, that's why it's not under rated. It's, well, accurately rated.![]()

Screen is actually overrated. Compare it to all 3.7" devices with 800x480 resolution and you won't be able to tell a difference unless you stick it in your face. Like i've mentioned many times before, it definitely is a wow factor when you're coming from a 2002 like iPhone3gs screen, but not when you come from another phone manufacturer. You see, other phone manufacturers are ahead of the game when it comes to hardware.
Considering that's the MAJOR hype about the phone and it's not THAT much better than other comparably sized screens... THAT equals overrated, not underrated.![]()
It's over use as a phone and internet device etc.
I found that ever since I got my iPhone 4 on release day, I rarely even use my Macbook and when I need a bigger screen I pick up my wife's iPad for some quick browsing, but I could live just with the iPhone alone. Although I did love my 3GS I do not think it had the same WOW factor, and the screen is unreal, and much quicker then the 3GS.
Or maybe the gyro since I still haven't seen much try to make use of it (I still haven't found a game to play with the gyro at. Everything I've seen seems so much like something I'm totally not interested in so don't want to pay money just to be able to play with the gyro.
The gyroscope is definitely the most under-rated feature. Play Eliminate:GunRange and you'll get a taste of its potential.
See, that's the only one I've heard of that takes advantage of the Gyro and I'm just interested in a shooting range game.

Gonna have to disagree. You're entitled to your opinion, though.I've put this side-by-side to my friend's phones and nothing compares. The iPhone 4's screen blows everything else out of the water.
