The quick way is to 2 finger swipe from the top to bring down the quick settings and long press the WiFi icon to turn it on or off.

See... Android coworkers who I complained about this to, just shrugged.

Still... I usually only have thumb free. Not two fingers when using a handset.

Use one finger, click on quick settings, long press.
And you don't really need to Google to find a city in the same timezone as Switzerland, just think of somewhere in continental Europe...

I get that you don't like the phone and that's fine, you just seem to be complaining about things where there are solutions.

Also you don't need to c&p from address bar, just click share. And obviously unlike Safari you can share it to a wide range of places.

I'm willing to spend literally maybe 2-3 seconds turning WiFi on and off (don't need to really as I have an app to manage it based on my location and the availability of open networks, but still) and have all of the massive improvements Android offers over iOS.

But there you go, different strokes for different folks.

Glad you're happy!

Because most people aren't going to buy phones like this for use on Verizon, and the Verizon Moto G can only be used on Verizon. The Moto G that everyone else buys is $179 and $199. The big market for phones like this is for people that have to buy unlocked and want a cheap phone.

I bought the Moto G 8GB for $200 from Telus in the middle of phone contract because I bricked my old Motorola Razr V:rolleyes:
