Dunno, maybe. I updated the Nexus 6 and did not do it and it runs fine, unless this is a different animal..

It supports MicroSD and with marshmallow you can combine storage so it acts as one. So yes 8gb is fine as long as you supplement with MicroSD.Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a cheap smartphone to use on travels to slightly less safe areas in South America where I'd rather not be prancing around with my big shiny 6 Plus
So I'm looking at the Moto G 2015, seeing that I can get it for ca €150 new. That's the 8 gb version though... Does anyone here have experience with this phone, am I going to suffer from getting the 8 gb version? Any other major issues to report?
All the ads I find state that you get the micro USB cable but not the actual charging block, has that been your experience too? That'd be another €30 on top I guess...
I'd prefer to get the 16 gb version of course, as it's only like €40 more, but I can't find a good place to buy one (need to have it by Weds. at the latest) here in Sweden.
The other option I'm considering is an iPhone 5s (better in many ways, since I'm all-in on Mac/iOS right now) but I don't see them going for less than €350 which is a touch more than I'd like to spend on a backup phone like this.
A nice thing about getting the Moto would be that I get to play with Android again...
Any recommendations appreciated
I'm asking for someone...
Anybody own an unlocked Moto G running with T-Mobile network in the US? And if so, anyone have the Marshmallow update? And if so, can anyone confirm whether Voice over LTE works on Tmobile after the Marshmallow update? Can you make and/or receive calls while on LTE on Tmobile?
EDIT: Or more specifically, if the Moto G knows how to switch to 3G for voice calls (making and receiving) automatically, and then switching back to 4G after the call is done. That's acceptable, too. Apparently, like the Moto E, the Moto G will never have Voice over LTE with Tmobile due to lack of certification. Bummer. But would be satisfied if it could auto switch to 3G for calls.
Anyone?
