Moviebox iOS 8.1 (no jailbreak)

That was a different method where you have to change the time of your device. This was patched in iOS 8.1 they must have used another enterprise certificate to install Moviebox into your iPhone and now Apple have pulled it
No that's wrong.
I installed the new version of Moviebox on my iPad with 7.1 without the date trick just like I did on my iPhone 6.
not working for me either anymore. Was working fine on my iP6+
Wonder if this is one of those Apple patches for that Wirelurker Malware attack?
I mean it is a chinese site and app and all.
edit: I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and no good. It won't even install now

honestly your best bet it to update to 8.1 and jailbreak now. Pangu for 8.1 is finally finished and completely stable. They just released a Mac version as well today, so everyone who was holding out on jailbreak with 7.1 needs to go ahead and update now before 8.1.1 comes out and patches the jailbreak. Then you can install the real "jailbroken version" of moviebox just fine.
Keep in mind there are some apps and will be many more in the future that will require iOS 8.0 or higher to run.

The only thing I don't like about the jailbreak app is no turbo mode. Plus I like the visual appeal of the non jailbreak app better as well. My girlfriends stopped working today on 8.1 iPhone 6 but my plus is still working.

I still find the easiest way to use movie box with no jailbreak is to register your device as a developer with zeusmos. Sure if cost a few bucks per year, per device, but I haven't had a single issue with it not working over the last 2 years aside from the occasional hiccup where the movie or tv show can't be found. Works great after every software update as well.
well forsure this app does not install over any other apps. whether there are other malware in them, I have no clue, but it looks and functions correctly

I'd be cautious about installing any apps from the pgyer.com website. Some users in the WhatsApp beta thread who downloaded from that site suspect that the app may contain the WireLurker malware as it uses an unknown enterprise provisioning profile. Not sure if this is true about the MovieBox app downloaded from there, but exercise caution peeps.
