Showbox is the exact same app as Moviebox except its for Android devices. Unless someone created a different app with the same name.

Another instance here of it stopping on 8.1 - haven't chexkes my iPad runnings 7.1 yet but I suspect it will be the same

Is there any way of knowing this won't harm our iOS devices or steal personal information?
I just downloaded from this link and there is no movie box icon on my screen? Does this mean I just installed some dodgy bit of software?
Is there anyway I can check?
The fact that you feel compelled to ask such a question should send up a red flag, in my opinion.

No. That's why I didn't install it. I'll wait until I know is safe. I know the last version from the previous link was safe because it was checked.
Luckily I had an icloud backup from yesterday so did a restore.. Will make sure I'm more careful in future!
I Emailed FireEye Yesterday & Ask Them If The Updated Link For Movie Box is Safe & They Said Yes. There's No Trace Of Masque Attack Or Wirelurkers. Its Safe To Install On iOS 8.1.1 & 8.2. When I installed the version from iPa.othman.tv, no icon installed, so made me very suspicious. Have now installed the older version from pgyer and all is good.

It's down on my girls 6 on 8.1 but my plus on8.1 still works. Tried every older version on pgyers site and none work...
No good there either. She gave me permission to jailbreak so I may end up doing that. Oh well.

I'm jail broken but I like the non JB app better as it features turbo mode and the appearance and layout is more pleasing to the eye.
The Link Works Fine For Me & Im On iOS 8.2. I Have No Problem & My Friends Have 8.1.1 & They Can Install It With No Problems.
Has 8.2 been released already? I think it's strange how it only affects certain phones and not everyone. Our 6 and 6 plus are both on 8.1 and the plus still works and the 6 stopped working and will not install from any links in this thread. No idea why it's only some people.
