Re my query with Lockdown Pro the developer has just got back to me (kudos to him as within a few hours) saying he should get an update out later today to sort out my config issue.
I am experiencing this as well

I have seen battery loss as well, and it doesn't always work, I'll wait and reinstall it when it gets the bugs out

Ok so I downloaded icleaner pro from cydia because of a problem with other data, but when I sync with Itunes it obviously got deleted. I know I need appsync but last time I used it on my evasi0n7 5s it screwed up my stock apps until I reset all settings. can anyone confirm it works and DOESN'T screw up mail, safari, ect.....?
I've used icleaner pro a couple of times the last couple of days on my iPhone 5S. No problems. I don't recall downloading or using anything called appsync, though.
oh there's no problems it really helped. the problem is when I sync with I tunes it gets deleted. Did I accidentally download some pirated version? its icleaner pro 7.0.2 by author Exile.90
appsync CAN be used for pirated apps, its probably mostly used for that. However people also use it for older versions of apps. Its meant to disable itunes from deleting cydia apps during a sync.

You do not need appsync for icleaner pro. Also, as it is a Cydia app and not an App Store app, syncing with iTunes should have absolutely no effect on icleaner pro.
This is not correct. Appsync has nothing to do with Cydia apps. It is intended to let you sync App Store apps not obtained through the proper App Store channels. It has no effect on Cydia apps. I have never had a sync in iTunes delete Cydia apps.

I just sync'd with iTunes and nothing unusual happened. The app is still on my iphone.
wow you are correct I really did not want to mess with appsync or re install apps every sync. I dunno what happened, must have been a fluke. thanks for the fast replies!
Is it in the default repos? Because I can't find it after 2 or 3 refreshes in cydia.
F.lux warms up the screen colour temperature, thus making it even more yellow. I'm looking for the opposite.

It's not out yet. Hopefully soon though. I'll post in this thread when I see it's available in cydia.
